    Here I document the progress of my iron cutter Bermuda grass in St. Louis, the transition zone for grass in the United States. I'll be making grass plugs to transplant in the dead area (where my Mazama Kentucky Bluegrass used to be) with IronCutter Bermudagrass. I'll be using the proplugger tool to make the plugs and holes. I've been waiting for this day since last summer!!\
    Check out the Lawnguardian channel, he'll soon be using sprigs to establish a stand of Ironcutter (he's also in St Louis). youtube.com/@TheLawnGuardian

      Thanks you! It's something I love doing, even though I could probably read about it somewhere.

    That is quite possibly the darkest Bermuda grass I have ever seen. Great job! Now I just need to find somewhere that I can get plugs from

      Thanks John! Can't wait to see how fast/slow it spreads. Still haven't decided spacing lol. I'll send you a few if I've extra.

      @kove  Год назад +1

      Yeah, not happy with that. The years I've had it, no summer was as bad as last year. So frustrated I decided to go with warm season. I think it was the right switch!

      Or three more of the same kind, for the perfect shade canopy. It will be my dwarf forest.
