From all the reviews I have seen from this pedal, you are the only one who tests the expression pedal and make an awesome Looping. Now I want this effect box more than ever xD You are a great guitar player, bro.
WOW that's a Gibson Melody Maker , what year is it? I have a 1959 Model . Who needs more then one pick up right . Surjo that was the best video I've seen on the ZoomG1xon so far going to hit it out of the box and really learn this time using a lap steel for some different sounds. Thanks for a informative look at looping.
great video. at 12:30 you are right about the pedal being only good for home, not gig, if using drum rhythms. when i gig at an open mic at a bar, or some small solo thing, or even busking, it is necessary to have drum machine output separate from guitar output, for separate mixing. typically i bring small guitar amp with aux-out, and separate drum machine with aux-out, both go into the console mix as separate channels, the sound guy mixes as desired, often boosting low's on drums and high's on drums, and then on the guitar channel, boost mids and reduce high's. with only 1 single combined output on this zoom pedal, it is a big handicap if playing live, basically not usable, if giving to the sound person to run to the board. too bad about this huge limitation because otherwise it would be very good, quick & easy live setup to bring to open mic or simple solo gig. I dont think the bigger zoom pedal like g3x has separate output for drum either, it is also combined. if zoom made it separate (like, aux-out, even if mono) then it would be huge, huge improvement. still it is a great pedal for home use. the lack of control for start/stop the rhythm vs. looper separately also makes this pedal very limited even for busking use, when drums should be stopped separate from looper or vice versa (what would be best is if it had MIDI-IN, to accept controls from external midi pedal, to allow more switching capabilities like this, without having to add more buttons on the pedal itself). Too bad about these limitations which really could boost it to a higher level of performance use.
Do you do a tutorial about more in depth how to set up the looper tbh the manual is not very helpful I was able to set up one then it said play..so I presumed I couldn't loop again..so an in depth step by step would be very helpful Ty
one very good thing is to look at the presets and when you hear what you like see how its made what effects in which order noise reduction etc. and then start making your own... ( i still have G2s but when they break these are very cheap...) wonderful playin!!!

Hey does this work with any normal non guitar amplifiers? I'm from India and as you know that to perform on stage you have to plug your guitar into those big sound boxes. Will this give me a good distortion if I use it to play on those big party non guitar sound boxes?
@@SurjoBhattacharjee I actually have to perform in an event quick but the song needs distortion and I am not able to manage my money to buy it. Can I use a normal distortion pedal instead. I can borrow a normal distortion pedal from a friend and use it. will it work the same way and can be connected to PAs and mixers?
If it's just a distortion pedal then it won't work in the same way, because the pedal needs to go into a guitar amp which can then be mic'd into the PA. You could borrow a guitar processor for someone for the event and go kick ass. :)

Hey does this work with any normal non guitar amplifiers? I'm from India and as you know that to perform on stage you have to plug your guitar into those big sound boxes. Will this give me a good distortion if I use it to play on those big party non guitar sound boxes?
It's meant for that. For plugging into PAs or mixers. There are output settings for that. You'll be fine.
@@SurjoBhattacharjee yeah I got it. Thank you Brother ☺
Sounds great!
Thank you
It's sound very noisy so how to fix them plese help
super jam.... thanks ss
Thank you
I’m looking for a good distortion pedal , will this the trick? I’m really afraid that there will be a lot of noise with this thing.

Sir how it is sounding so clean n perfect for all patches..? I think g1xon is little noisy..
Any suggestion fr that? I am a beginner in processor playing..
Please try using an aux cable for the output rather than a regular mono jack
@@SurjoBhattacharjee ok.. Thanku sir..
How did you record the g1xzon zoom audio?
Did you use an applicator?
Connected a stereo aux cable (with a 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch converter on the G1xon end) to the aux in of my Boss Katana. Mic'd that

So sorry but I don't know how to solve your problem. Please contact Zoom customer support
@@SurjoBhattacharjee ohk thank you
Unable to connect my G1xon to any speaker.....plz make video on how to??
Please try using an aux cable rather than a mono lead wire
Sir can I use this with blackstar ID core 10? Pls answer I want to buy that...anyone? Pls answer....thank u
Yes you could on the clean channel.
I have purchased Zoom G1xON .. Can u please tell me what is the settings for perfect Distortion sound ?
Depends on which type of distortion you want. Do you have an artist in mind? A small tip would be to have lesser gain.
@@SurjoBhattacharjee Actually I have set the distortion in bank A0 which I think is not properly done. When u start playing the starting type of distortion I needed.
I played on the preset patch only, keep the gain low and strike hard and you'll get a good tone, add a little bit of delay to smooth the edges
@@SurjoBhattacharjee Thank you sir.. I will try
Which song did you played here please comment
Which part? Timestamp please
can anyone tell me whether any external source of audio could be plugged
into it to jam along such as MP3 player or ipod as a source of backing
track
Yes you can
Thanks Dada...actually i am using vox stomplab sl 2g it neither has any rythm mode nor any aux port every time connecting with pc and fl studio is a bit hectic process for home practice or refreshment ..thats why it was bothering me..but thanks for your reply
How many years have you been playing sir?
21
Can we play without electric guitar ? Thanks
Acoustic guitar? It won't have the same response.
@@SurjoBhattacharjee thanks for the information we have to use Mic to play for acoustic guitar right where as Electric Guitar can be plugged in directly to zoom pedal Correct me of Iam wrong thank you
Yes you can plug your electric guitar directly into the zoom. An acoustic guitar with a pickup can also be plugged in to the Zoom but it won't give the same results.
@@SurjoBhattacharjee thank you so much again Really valuable information
Sir can we use any stereo cable for this processor?
Yes. 3.5mm stereo cable
Good work
Thank you
Zoom g1 ko kese microphone ki sath connect karte he.
Aap pooch rahe hai ki maine video mein kisi microphone se connect kiya hai ke nahi? Video mein G1 mere amp mein connected hai, aur fir maine amp ko mic kiya hai. Isko aise hi karne ki zaroorat nahi. Seedhe G1 se output aap mixer mein daal sakte hai
I need to buy it soon
which instrument cable are you using.
I use Ernie Ball cables.
@@SurjoBhattacharjee is Fender Original Series cable good...?
I've used those. They don't last
@@SurjoBhattacharjee could you pls suggest the best cable for about rs 600-800....?
Try Bespeco. They're good. But they also have a shelf life. The longest lasting so far has been Ernie Ball
Sir I have zoom g1 on processor. When I play distortion there is lot of noise and not getting good tone. And I am using mono cable. Sir plz suggest what I do?
Please use a stereo cable and try. Else reduce gain
Thanku sir
go into you patch settings and choose ZNR pedal. Turn the threshold to up to 17 and add the pedal to the front of the chain, in front of all the other pedals and that will quiet it down. there is a tutorial on you tube about this. ZNR is zoom noise reduction.
@@TheTacdriver ok
according to you which one is better boss gt1 or zoom g1xon?
The zoom is cheaper and sounds better imo
Is it going to work with the home woofer
Theoretically yes. Take an aux cable and put it in your system
Congractulations on your vídeo.Excellent explanatin. How are you?.My name is Luciano Faria. I´m from Brazil. Excuse-me . Do you could to send me the settings of your pre sets of efects?
Thank you. Preset effects are the same Luciano. I didn't change anything, so you'll have the same factory presets.
@@SurjoBhattacharjee thanks, Surjo. God bless you, Forever
You too
Sir pls tell me good cheap adapter
See if stranger still makes adapters. Although I would suggest getting the original adapters
Is it a Gibson or godson?🙃
Gibson Melody Maker
@@SurjoBhattacharjee p90? Pickups?
Single pickup, only bridge, P90 alnico
How much would u recommend this pedal over other stomp pedals?
For the same price range very much. Tones are really good, just the aux output is a drawback for me, but the sounds are damn good
Thanks
Hallo sir how to edit this types of patches please tell me sir
I have made another video on editing Patches. Please see it
can this be used for accoustic guitar?
Possible, but not the best idea, the input signal from an electro-acoustic and an electric guitar are different and would result in different sounds.
Good demo 👍
Thank you
I'm wondering, if I could get a good AC/DC tone with this?
Yes you could with lower gain on a crunch amp
Thank you, I'm not really getting one on my Boss GT1
Nice guitar tone
Thank you
Great Demo!! great playing too!!! Thanks
Thank you
Heyy, very good content, add a small intro to your video
