    I made some bookcases a couple years ago... A router would have been a good idea. That slot just works out so well. Great tip about routing them on a full sheet first then cut in half!

    Nice video I always loved how clean dado slots make the shelf look like they were made professionally. One thing I would have done different is cut a rabbit at the top of the sides to let the top middle support piece fall right into place that way you could have nailed it 2 ways for extra strength but thats just preference really. Good work make more videos !

      Great add on tip cheers. Up there for thinking. I guess it can come down to balance between preference and requirements. Nice to mix it up.

    Great video on the data with the router.
    Why not use a fence with clamps for the circular saw cut though?

      I'm going to face the shelves and put doors on the cabinet. That center one will help to keep the shelves from bowing, Yes.

    bosch blue / Professional. no idea if in US Bosch blue is a professional tool. in germany it is. :-) Anyhoo you will enjoy it. As music teacher could you make some videos how to play saxophone. I started with alto saxophone and looking for some easy lasons or instuctions how to play some easy songs.
