PSV fan here, we've only feared one team for the past 2 years and that was Feyenoord under Arne Slot. His players were all one or several classes under ours, yet they still kept up most of the time. The man is also a great, great communicator. Calm, collected and probably good for you guys, very good at English (unlike some other bald Ajax fraud). Think he'll be great for you guys, both YNWA clubs too.

From a united fans perspective he on paper he fits Liverpool like a glove. Personality, pressing he seems a really good choice. There is a massive unknown side in terms of how he can adapt to the prem and if hes established enough but its a risk worth taking. As a Dutch Liverpool fan from Slot his home town (Zwolle) I would love it if he becomes the next manager. I really like him because of his tactics and especially his attitude. I believe that he could lead Liverpool to success in the (near) future if he can get on with Edwards and if FSG backs him. Also, about the number 9, he currently plays with a poacher (Giminez) who scored 20 goals in the first half of the season and now scored 2 in the second half. Giminez has really good runs in behind and could score from anywhere in the first half of the season. Maybe Slot could help Nunez to become a better finisher to produce those number giminez had with him the first half of this season since nunez has got those runs.
@@scaife51 I don't know, hard to tell, we could use another forward since we have injury prone players (jota) and salah getting older. I think Feyenoord are looking for around 50 million at this time, which was above 60 million when Giminez was at his peak this season. But I personally do not know if that is worth it, looking at this season as a whole, he has been poor since january. However, it would be very hard to find a better, young striker for under 50 million in the current market.
Slot apparently played a 4-3-3 system at Alkmaar and since Klopp has been here so long now every single one of our teams (first team through to the youths) play this formation. I think his tactislly versatile enough to chabge from his 4-2-3-1 as realistically we don't want MacAllister and Trent as a double pivot seeing as there really isnt much defensive security there. Anyways, great video mate and just giving some food for thought! Love this channel!

Good video only point I disagree with a bit is his style not being more possession based. Former players have openly said his style is more similar to Guardiola. Assistant coaches have come out and openly stated he was obsessed with watching City/Barca under Pep too. Feyenord also have some of the highest based possession stats in Europes top 7 leagues. The good thing thought is he’s able to be adaptive and switch it up and be more direct when needed.

Personally I think looking for a style of play that replicates what Kloop has done at Liverpool, in terms of high press football might be good but maybe thats where the change should start from. We should be more open to seeing us play a different type of football, quite alright high pressure football has 'worked out' quite well but its important to look at how consistent has our success been after that 18/19 season. I think its a point in time where we accept and deem Kloop as a legend but also be open to new ideas, a new start that could be with not trying to replace kloop but redeem our heritage as a top contender that is well capable of winning and not coming just short every time. But thats only my opinion

i think the biggest take away from him and compare him to just being a liverpool player is that slot clearly knows what it means to lose in big games and come back stronger which is something that could help us a lot

Too easy to go from being happy and excited that Edwards is back but then question him when he makes a decision, despite not having enough knowledge of the man ourselves but because we don't know him and don't like his name. Can’t see Nunez or gakpo coming good now, certainly Nunez meanwhile salah is clearly getting on and while Olise, zaniolo etc are available and similar types of wingers and can accommodate his loss, also need new medical team tbh
