- Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 Review - What nobody tells you! (48 HOURS LATER)
We tested the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 for 48 Hours now and put the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 13" vs the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 15" version to see what differences there are!

Which version of the Galaxy Book Pro 360 would you get-13" or 15"? 👇
15inch is Absolutely My Favourite One, Bigger is Better, so Satisfying!!! 😍😍😍
I ordered the 15!
I ordered the 15" mystic navy
13 inch.
@@verdedeleon82 i want the blue one also lol-good choice!
Awesome love the 15" it looks so thin and cool.
it really is thin though.can confirm this.
Bought the 13in Galaxy Pro 360. It checked all my boxes and the compactness is grrrreat. Holiday discount helped!..
Light at 2.3 lbs fits the bill. So far, size is just right... if I want a larger screen, just plug one in, but for traveling or lounging around in tablet mode or tent mode, smaller is better to a point. Screen doesn't seem small for that.. or at all.
Also, don't need a bigger, brighter screen on my 50+ year old eyes. Highly recommend it if price is right for you.
Almost bought an iPad, but this is so much more capable imo.
I've experienced that the 15 in wobbles alot more, the 13 in Hardly wobbles
It's designed to be able to be opened with one hand
How's the performance and drawing experience, on high resolution canvas' in either Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint Pro/EX? Since its meant for Artists, if it was failing in those, at big canvas, when the files reach 100mb - 1gb+ (with timelapse option activated), would be interesting.
I also wanna know!
I went from my ipad pro 10.5inch to the Samsung book2 pro 360 15.6 inch and honestly clip studio works so well! My only issue is that it overheats quite fast but it is a heatwave here rn and I don't have aircon so idk.
How did you get a 15 inch in silver? Hate the bronze and Blue here in NYC
Great to the point review! Have you encounter any overheating in your regular use?
I'd go for the 15" for sure. Just because I know I'd use it to it's full potential the 13" would leave me wanting. They're both pretty gorgeous though. I'm sticking with my Tab S7+ for now, but if someone here wants to give me one of these...I would humbly accept. ;)
Another great video BTW.
I would literally never need a computer apart from the sad fact that certain applications are ONLY x86/x64. Otherwise, my S7+ is excellent.
15 inch every time. I genuinely believe a 13 inch laptop isn't the best for any use case other than being light. I kinda hope 14" laptops kill off 13.3" laptops.
I'd go with 13 inch but allthough I really hoped that Samsung would use their new 14 inch 90 Hz panel instead.. Hopefully on the next generation we can expect that and the ARM Exynos chip with AMD graphics.
isn't the pen easier to use on a 13in for note taking ?
Nah, I can't stand the 15.6". Not portable enough for me. 13.3" is amazing for my uses. :)
15" - i have it and love it ^^
Hey, is the screen still ok and how are the hinged? I want to buy it but I've heard the screen randomly cracks
This is my dream laptop.. that would always be a dream.
same it's my dream laptop/tablet
I'm torn between this 13" 360 and Dell's XPS - The 13" 360 here in the UK says "Not for Sale" but you could preorder the other day.. so not sure what's going on there! I just feel the 15" will be too big for use of a tablet mode (personal choice) - Be interesting to see how the battery test performs. Thanks for your vids. 👍 Can you weigh them and give us the true figures?
sure as a matter of fact I was going to weigh them but my scale was broken lol
^The display looks amazing, even in video..could be my tab s7+ 😛
it does look amazing.
I have seen some people say there is alot of flex in the keyboard/mouse area. Can you verify?
Yeah, I saw that too, including Linus Tech tips review showing that holding it in one hand presses the right-click button from the bottom of the mouse pad due to the flex.
@@Verton_D I just got my "360" yesterday and It actually seems pretty solid to me in that area. Now the awful Speakers and Web Cam are a different conversation..I mean really bad.
@@jasonm6268 Change to the Dolby Atmos Setting and the Sound is way better than out of the box
Do you think the 15" replaces the need for having a Tab S7+? I may trade in the Tab S7+ since I already have the Z Fold 2, and had to buy a MacBook air for school.
thats a though one...both do so many things good and both have weakness in their own right. It all depends what you need it for. Full desktop expereince go for a 360. If not stick wuith tab s7+..
Let me know as well I had the same exact idea.. I was thinking about getting a macbook for a more PC experience I have the fold 2 and tab s7 plus as well. But the 360 does look very tempting.
@@ALLSTARSPACE isn't worth it now because windows 11 will support android natively?
my reasons for why I'm returning it, the camera is bad, like I understand its 720 and it's standard but they managed to make the output worse than most 720p cameras (for example the S7 tab+ is way better), the screen is great for video or images, but when typing and drawing it looks very pixelated/ grainish/ slightly blurry like if it's trying to adjust the font, I believe this is because of the 1080p limit which is not cool (I'm definitely not happy even after paying 1500), and the brightness is so low as in the highest brightness setting at 100% would be the equivalent of 70-80% of something like a MacBook or a Surface. Big Tip! IF you don't like the screen wobble, get the 13 in, it wobbles way less than the 15 in I got the 13 in. I am definitely a big Samsung fanboy, but I'm definitely going to pass on this 1st gen and I am hopeful on the 2nd gen and will probably give it another go when that time comes.
Yes... I spent most of the last ten years in Microsoft surface land with amazing screens, but switched to the android tablet focused ecosystem 2yrs ago... I bought the 360 13" to replace an older surface pro and book. The screen quality on the 360 is atrocious. ... Up close, the whites have yellow tint and the background is heavily rasterized. Its like a step 10yrs back in the past. I'm not even sure about the refresh rate... can I just get a Samsung version if the surface book studio please?
@@engineeringVirtue you can change the color depiction in Samsung settings to natural. I think that should help
You are a pleasant reviewer. Great review ✨
I originally was going to get the the 360 version but got the regular 15 inch version since it has more ports which I need. I haven't done much with it since I have a busy work week Hopefully this weekend I can dive more into it. The only downside so far is it's Windows OS and I'm use to android os. Also this is the first laptop I ever purchased
Honestly, you guys are my go to for tech reviews! Yall are completely underrated!! Much love.
Oh god I'm torn 🤦♂️ uhh ... can we negotiate, Samsung, and have a 14"? 😁
Good Video, thanks!
I would like to see a comparison between this device and the Galaxy Flex 2 because i bought the flex 2 and I am considering to change it for one of these. One reason to buy it was your good feedback on the flex 2, so which one do you like better? Where are the pros and cons?
Thank you!
What's your experience with the flex 2? What variant do you own btw and does said variant include the s pen?? Hope you can answer it would be appreciated😊
Flex 2 is a good device. I dont have any negative points, but i did not use it that much. The only things i think might be nicer about the pro 360 is the design and bigger S Pen. Abd the trackpad could be bigger. And i think i would prefer a 15" device.
@@jorithanneforth1313 thanks!!
@@jorithanneforth1313 i was between the flex 2 alpha and the galaxy book pro (not pro 360) and got the latter. It was only $80 more so i couldn't pass it up! I also get free Galaxy bud pros!! The only thing i really liked about the flex 2 was the brightness of the QLED display. The OLED on the Pros are not as bright.
I Want that 15inch Version, but I have to Sell My Previous 14inch Ultrabook First, because have More than 1 Ultrabook is Very Complicated, I Need Bigger Screen Device. Super Satisfying 😀😁😀
Good choice✌️
Please can you do a jitter test while drawing diagonal or straight lines with the pen.
Please Compare the Samsung Galaxy book pro 360 with the Samsung Galaxy book flex 2 and the MacBook air
Bro does it support video editing & design software like Catia?
Unfortunately, many of the just issued reviews complain that the screen is too dim.
it feels dim at times, i can second that.
I believe it's oled screen if that's the case all oleds will be a bit dimmer because they use self lit pixels rather than typical blacklisting systems.
Would you recommend the 15 inch for OBS user? is it overheating?
Did you get an answer? However I'm new to OBS and I'm looking to use either the 13-in or the 15-in Galaxy book pro only for recording through my webcam ( no gaming maybe a custom overlay but that's it)
I'm pretty much a computer noob but do you think either one of those would be ideal? Thanks for the response in advance
Is the 15 inches good for taking to university i mean is it too bulky? Is it true that the picture quality on the 15 inches in worse than the smaller one? Thanks for your content btw :)
Hi..great review..can u plz tell me from which country did u purchase this laptop?
what retailer is letting you try 2 for 48 hours and return the one you don't want? thanks for the vid!
There’s a lot to like about the laptop. The Evo chipset seems ideal, because the computer runs cool and fast.
It does show fingerprints awfully bad, though. The deal breaker for me though is that 6 weeks after getting it, the screen cracked. $450 repair, and Samsung support is chaotic and say, well SOL. I’m mad and upset. I baby my devices and have never broken one. When I first got it, the lid felt way to light and fragile, and now I got exactly that, a money pit. Reminds me of my 10yr old $2600 flatscreen from Samsung. It burned out within a few weeks. Though they repaired it, the case never went back together and to this day has to be held together with packing tape. No more Samsung products for me!
I love these laptops but sadly quickshare is limited to galaxybooks and can't be installed on other PCs
Theyre also eGPU compatible! I bought mine and paired it with a razer chroma x and 2080. Absolutely awesome for travel
very cool information thank you 💪
I see you post another video...I grab a new cup of coffee, throw my feet up and enjoy! Thanks and keep up the great work!
What nobody tells you: the standard galaxy book comes with anti glare (matt) IPS Display, but without Keyboard Backlight & Keyboard Keys does have deeper travel compard to the Pro Version.
But its screen is still no where near as good as the Pro's and Pro 360's, because its no OLED. Performance is also weaker and its not made from Aluminium.
I would usually go for the 13 in... But I would want to see it in person to see if the 15in would work for me, as portability is my big must have! Love your video as usual!!!🥰🥰🥰
tricky, first thought was exactly that..I then changed my mind🕺
I just saw the 15" today and to my surprise it was fairly light, even for a petite person like me. I could easily hold it with one hand.
No one is reviewing the unloved Book Pro! My thoughts after a day or so; battery is nowhere near what Samsung claims and they should be told off for such over-exaggeration! The display seems muted compared to my Galaxy Chromebook, but maybe that is because it is 4K OLED? I certainly would not say upgrade from the QLED as the difference is minimal. I remain disappointed that there is no QHD 90Hz and seeing what Samsung is doing with phones it is surprising, though, with the underwhelming battery life, that may have been another Galaxy Chromebook faux pas!
It does love to pump up the fan even when just charging with the lid closed! So, I have had to run it in battery saver mode to keep it quiet. It does run cool for most stuff when in this mode but for the power users I am not sure this has great thermals? I got mine with Galaxy Buds Pro and a £60 discount so the hit was circa £1100 for the 15' Book Pro i7/16GB/512GB which competes well with the Intel competition. So far, okay, maybe 8/10?
got the pro also...will unbox it tomorrow🕺
How is the flex in the chassis? I see 15" in some review can be a bit concerning, but I haven't seen any with the 13". Is the 13" more rigid?
15 inch has more flex and screen wobble as the 13 inch version. Thats at least what I read in several reviews. I have choosen the smaller one.
Can i change the ram manually and the normal storage and get the 13 inch
full review video will look at that.
You could review anything, very glued to the screen
Could u test the screen brightness in exact nits and compare it with the flex 2 (Both regular and outdoor mode)? I checked and the 500 nits part is only applicable for HDR contents. And the day to day max brightness according to the official specs is 370 nits only. But most reviews are mentioning between 270-280 nits when they measured. And the battery reviews seem poor too with just 5/6h SOT on avg. And the speakers are supposedly a lot worse than the Tab S7+. And the benchmarks showing a lot less scores on Geekbench and Cinebench compared to other laptops. Seems like a total dissapointment tbh
Does the 15.6 inch have the mx450? I read about it... Maybe the 1tb version
How does this compare with the galaxy flex 2
Now quick share has come, I think you should make a video on Apple ecosystem vs Samsung ecosystem using your phone app. Let's see if there really much of a difference in samsung and Apple ecosystem because I think samsung has covered all the key features and it's cheaper to invest in samsung's ecosystem than Apple. 😌😌
If you look carefully, it's no much of a difference in terms of the cost for full ecosystem (Phone, tablet, laptop)
Hi , what are the differences between the 360 and the flex2 5g? In particular the s pen functions. Many thanks
My goodness did Samsung ban reviewers from opening the case to see if the SSD is replaceable?
just didnt get around it yet. We have two production units fully paid for not what you see on main channels. Thats correct they can't do much with their review units...
@@ALLSTARSPACE I think the ssd is a mini ssd and it may be upgradeable, but they are hard to find and not more then 1tb, I think.
Tbh swappable ram and storage is one of the things that make any brand superior over Apple Macbooks and it's a must in my opinion.
@@Niels_f2704 I agree. PCs need to be upgradable. At least the ssd.
SSD is easily replaceable. The 15 inch version has a second free slot for extending storage size. Pretty much everything else is not replaceable.
Another awesome video...13 inch for me 😍
cool thank you.
Is their an LTE 15.6 version or any word on an upcoming? I still love it either way.
The background of your phone is so beautiful.🙂 Your taste is beautiful Please tell me where you got it ???
the keyboard on this laptop is absolutely awful to type on. returned it for a 15" HP envy ryzen 7 with 8GB of ram and replaced the ram with 2 16GB sticks myself, and saved some money. the galaxy book looks really nice and has a great screen but i like performance and usability over flashy things. take this into consideration if you are looking into buying this laptop. Also if you run linux, its is a pain in the ass to get everything working. i never managed to get the key backluighting, speakers or brightness control to work even when using latest kernel and ubuntu 22.04.
I have the predecessor Samsung book flex and I LOVE it!
Do any of these have cellular connectivity?
The 5G versions
I went to Samsung shop in Oxford Street in London, I wanted the 13-inch but mistakenly the customer service though I wanted the 15. I realised when I went home. I haven't open yet the box as I am thinking to exange for the 13th.
What a well done video. I want your advice. I am an artist. Would you recommend the ipad with pencil over this?
As one who uses Tab s7+ for art, I'm having a great experience. IPad has more professional grade art apps. Tab s7 Android platform has fewer professional grade art apps with Clip Studio being the most feature rich. The few options available on Tab s7 are still great in my opinion, and more professional apps seem to be right around the corner. IPad's pen experience is very hard-plastic-on-glass. People get paper textured screen covers to correct for that. The Tab pen's rubber nib gives you more resistance on the glass surface right out of the box.Tab s7+ gives a great portable 12.4 screen size. Meanwhile iPad Pro gets you a 12.9 inch screen. I would love that extra .5 inches of screen space, but I find enough pleasure on the Tab that I rarely think about it. And there's the money savings you get with the Tab pen being included with the Tab s7. And finally, are you comfortable with Mac OS? The Android platform is less restrictive to work in.
@@trenton9 what version of the iPad pen have you tried? is it the same with iPad pro? 😄 Thanks!
I've not personally worked with different versions of the iPad pencil. I only know of the experience of those using the official iPad pencil. Currently, we're on the 2nd generation iPad pencil. Artists seem to enjoy the iPad pencil the most when they place a paper-textured screen cover on their iPad. Otherwise, the iPad pencil is a very hard plastic that slides around the glass screen with no resistance (an experience I don't like). iPad pencil generation 2 is compatible with iPad Air (4th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation), and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th, and 5th generation). @@FeeAlfadhal
I was hoping you might have some connections and knowing when the 15in just like the one you have will come out is 5G I've looked all over the place and can't find when I'm going to be able to get one in the US.
Please make a video on spen comparison between tab s7 plus and galaxybook. Like note taking differences, writing on pdf, drawing, etc.
I Would love the silver galaxy book pro 360! It would match 1 of my Galaxy S21 ULTRAS & 1 of my Galaxy Tab S7+s!!
I just got the 15.6" Book2 pro 360 2 weeks ago and it doesn't have the camera features that yours does in your video. How can I get those features on my machine?
Hi, I don't like the number pad it is missing the +, - keys, what is the use of it without them? Also why black keys on a silver laptop black keys looks really messy after use.
So how's the battery? Mine is draining fast it lasts just about 6 hours on a full charge. Definitely a deal broker for me, thinking about returning it🤔🤔.
the 360 is for artists also - so for drawing where you are really near to the display. its really the worst choice they "only" offer 1080p with the "pro"-version. They should have offer an 1440p version at least - as they do on their "Tab S8" tablets. with 1440p I would have bought the 13,3 inch model instantly! but I have to skip 1080p 😞
Please compare video rendering time in premiere pro with the MacBook air m1

Does the S Pen that comes with this laptop have one or two buttons? I thought that all of the Samsung styluses come with only one, but few reviews mentioned it having two.

@@ALLSTARSPACE Thank you for the answer. Having only one button is a bit disappointing, but expected.
Does 13 inch wobbles?

I found a surface book 2 15 inch 16gb of ram and 512gb ssd. With NVDA GTX 1060 for $1400. Is this a better deal than the galaxy pro 360?
Can you use all your apps on your phone on the laptop with share or some other tool?
With Samsung Smartphones you can use your smartphone Apps on the Book Pro 360. I think it was up to 7 Apps simultaneously. I have a OnePlus 7T Pro, so unfortunalty I cant test it for you.
@@chrisf217 thanks, that’s cool, the only other question is can you make them full size or just the size of your phone screen. Having the apps not be native to the windows devices could be restringing. In the videos I have seen the app is just phone size.
@@MrZola1234 unfortunately I don't know if you can resize them.
The focus mode is great
Can you show the windows link and Samsung dexterity on the 15 inch. Another RUclips said 15inch is pixelated and13inch has better quality, iTunes, is that correct?
You got the difference between the iris xe graphics wrong. On the 13" you have a i5, these use 80 EUs (i believe this stands for execution units) while on a i7 you have 96 EUs.
Something else to be considered about the graphics on these chips is that they use the RAM as shared video memory. So the 50% of the i5 is totaly accurate since you only have 8GB of RAM on this model while you have 16GB on the i7 model.
Two people have written their screens developed cracks in the screen, Samsung wanted $300 to fix it, shame I was about to buy one.
Existe um 13 polegadas???? É mais barato? No brasil as coisas são muito acima do preço :(
