‘A Day in the Life’ Ep 1: “Commitment Day” feat. Boogie Fland

Over the next 12 months, The Program NYC will be documenting stories about individuals at the forefront of New York City basketball culture in a series called ‘A Day in the Life.’
These individual episodes will focus on particular moments, events (and days) that have special meaning to these individuals.
For our pilot, we had the pleasure of spending the day with Johnuel “Boogie” Fland on Friday October 20th, 2023, Boogie’s “Commitment Day.”
On this day, Fland, ESPN’s top ranked point guard in the Class of 2024, will announce his decision on where he will play college basketball.
The final three schools in the running are Alabama, Indiana and Kentucky.
