- I made this last Tribute to Joey on March 2 and have has so many difficulties with it. So I'm just getting it posted. When I made this Joey was still with us and as we know she passed yesterday around 2:30. It's such a bitter sweet, so happy she is pain free and with her Savior whom she adored. but sad she is no loner with her love Rory, beautiful baby Indi and the rest of her family and friends. THANK YOU Joey for leaving such a GREAT POSITIVE impact on my life and so man others. You will NEVER be forgotten.

When I first learned about Joey feek I could not understand how she kept her faith so strong. She truly loved her husband her Jesus her just to be struck down in the prime of her life by this awful junk called cancer. Yet through it all she remained faithful to God as she lay in pain knowing her earthly life was going going gone! If for nothing else I greatly admire her for her faith and ❤️ love. I don’t think I could have been so loving toward a God who let all these terrible things happen when none of it needed to be. And what a beautiful voice . I could listen to her all day and not grow weary of listening to her.

I just found out who Joey and Rory are last night. They so touched my heart and soul, I had to share them with some fb friends. I told my daughter I have never seen any person in that stage of cancer who still just glowed with pure love. Joey had made me want to change my life and she has truly shown me what is important. This Lady is a true gift to us all. Thank you Joey and Rory for sharing your absolute love story and teaching us about the greatest gift of all

Joey and Rory taught what true love looks like in about 1 minute.
They didn't need to say a word, one look, when there eyes met, you knew this was real love on a spritual level. I don't think I'v ever witnessed love so palpable. I still watch any show I find about them, and I still get chills up my back. They had the kind of love that girls and women dream about. I didn't think love like there's was real.Now I know that it is, sometimes, if everyone loved like they did, we could get rid of war. Everyone would be too busy spreading love on everyone to fight and kill. The men would want to be home loving their wives and children to go out and fight. Men and women should watch there shows often and maybe they would learn how to love each other like God wants us to. Too bad we only had them a short time.
God bless them. I know they will be togeather in heaven. We love and miss you so much.

The LOVE that Joey and Rory shared was always present in the words of their SONGS. They always showed a lot of LOVE on stage toward one another and this was apparent. God Bless The Family 😇

I am from Indiana. Not far from where Joeys parents live, maybe 20 miles. I never met her, but love her and the music she so beautifully sang. We lost an angel here on earth when she went home to be with the Lord. This is beautiful honey. Thank you so much.

Cancer is bad,both mental,physically.death is hard on love ones tos see it destroy someone you love,that young and such a bright future,her husband has faith and he will endure. but God does things we don't understand,and with a child of special need.Those children all have so much love.maybe that wii be enough to get him though to he sees her again in heaven.great love story.that I didn't have,having cancer my self that I survived now going on 8 years,only especed three yrs and I am ,71 wished some how you could have taken her place.and given her more time.seems like good for young,but I know Bible and you can't question thease happenings.

I am thankful to have found her on youtube singing with Rory , I am happy to see her shine in life, happy with her husband and baby and the other 2 'daughters' she loved and many other friends and family. I love this tribute to Joey. It was so beautifully and thoughtfully done. It gave me peace and I loved her rocking in the clouds! I loved this girl from the first moment I saw her with Bill Gaither as he interviewed her and Rory early last year. She was so charismatic and a beautiful young woman. She's the kind of girl where you would look for flaws because of all she was gifted with, but couldn't find any. The depth of her humanity was so evident that you couldn't do anything but admire and love her. I have cried many tears over the loss of this precious young woman. I know she is with Jesus, but it would've been wonderful to keep her a while longer. Thank you for posting such a touching tribute to this sweet woman who deserves this outpouring of love.

I listened to Joey and Rory's music before she was diagnosed with cancer. It was like listening to angels singing. There was no big time glamour or hyped up lights. These were just two ordinary people with a love for God and a love for one another that glowed through the simplicity of their songs. I wept when I learned that Joey was dying. It seemed to unfair. It seemed so wrong. I could not understand why God would take such a beautiful simple kind hearted woman home and leave her husband and her little girl without her. Perhaps God answered me today. It is a long time past, but the impact of this tribute to Joey is a timeless tribute. Today was my time to listen to this tribute to Joey. It changed me. It changed me to ask God to forgive me for my self absorption. There is so much evil in this world. There is so much crazy chaos from the pursuit of riches and pursuit of power. There is so much pride that divides and causes strife in marriages, families, and even churches. BUT THEN THERE IS JOEY AND RORY...two lights of the city on a hill shining love into the darkness.. As I watched this tribute to Joey and re-listened to several of she and Rory's songs and watched their home videos, the Holy Spirit moved to soften my heart. He moved in me to find peace for my soul... to go in a gentle spirit of love to each person I have not forgiven and ask them to forgive me for not forgiving them as well as to ask them to forgive me for the ways i have hurt them. I have so many regrets and yet somehow in a way that I can't explain I believe that Joey's radiant face is a reflection of Jesus smiling at me and letting me know how much He loves even those who have been lost in a dark place or a place of no hope. I believe God is using Joey to say " It's never too late to repent, believe, and come home to Me." I will tell God my needs and I will thank Him for His answers as Joey encouraged people to do. I hope God gives me my radiant smile back that comes from a soul that has been restored to peace and joy. That is love. That is Him. I use to wonder how Joey could smile with this terminal disease that seemed so cruel. I use to wonder how could Joey could continue to smile and encourage others through her own pain. God answered me today. It was Joey's soul. Her radiance came from her beautiful soul that was filled with peace and joy. She knew that death could not hold her; she knew that though her beautiful body was wasting away, her soul was going home to be put into a glorious body of no more pain and no more suffering. Joey trusted God for His timing of her going home. I thank God for giving me His love through Joey.

Such a beautiful tribute. I was flipping channels on tv today and came across a special that Rory & Joey did with the Gaithers. I’ve been battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer since 2014. I only hope that I will have a portion of the love Joey had surrounding her on her last days. I believe God will take me home when my time here is through.
