I first heard Scott (dad) play at AJ's and thought he was pretty amazing. Then he got "the kid" Luke up to play a few. wow! Then next night at Roberts the Kid is playing with Don Kelley. We sat with Scott, his wife and parents. Just amazing!!! Both guitarists are so talented. This is why I love Nashville!
Scott was nearly exploding with pride during Luke's solo. That must be a magical thing to have your dad PLAY THE FIRST SOLO! Never been there but it must be a unique and wonderful feeling. Good for all you guys - you sound great.
