Good morning Miss W. You know who has me awake at the weee hours in the am. 💚🐾 The artwork is certainly cool. I do use AI for some editing. Friends also create the art. Not certain how I feel about how things are going with that however. Rembrandt?
Yes, I was in two minds about it, but I would never have the time to produce this from scratch - it takes long enough to get it right using photoshop - and no one is being deprived of work as I couldn’t afford to get an artist to do it. Would the great artists have used it? I suspect they probably would. After all, they used other artists to do the base painting or finishing touches, and had no qualms about using things like a camera lucida. I think people will still create art ‘manually’ and people will still buy it, in the same way that people still buy books instead of ebooks. And the return to vinyl over cd. It certainly has the potential for making the creation of art more accessible. At the moment, it’s just another tool, and it still takes work. Where it will be in 5 years is another matter. Food for thought!
