      I don't know what's more horrifying than being a woman in this or any other time/culture. 🤯
      🛑I digress: A friend's 19 yr old son did some welding for me and we got talking about how when he goes to places with women on SS only, they struggle financially but men on SS alone don't seen to have the same problem.
      I explained that I had the woman at SS run my exact same work history as man to see what my monthly income would be...$500 a month more for the same work history simply for being born male.
      At 19, he didn't think that it's fair. I didn't either and still don't at 70 something. Told him we pay the p...... tax from cradle to grave, so he should be generous with women.
      He looked at his Dad. Dad said, "She's right, son. Pay attention.". Kid said, "No charge for the welding job. I need practice." That makes one. 😉 Sure hope I didn't offend anyone. 🥱

    Good morning Miss W. You know who has me awake at the weee hours in the am. 💚🐾 The artwork is certainly cool. I do use AI for some editing. Friends also create the art. Not certain how I feel about how things are going with that however. Rembrandt?

    • @missworm
      @missworm  Год назад

      Yes, I was in two minds about it, but I would never have the time to produce this from scratch - it takes long enough to get it right using photoshop - and no one is being deprived of work as I couldn’t afford to get an artist to do it. Would the great artists have used it? I suspect they probably would. After all, they used other artists to do the base painting or finishing touches, and had no qualms about using things like a camera lucida.
      I think people will still create art ‘manually’ and people will still buy it, in the same way that people still buy books instead of ebooks. And the return to vinyl over cd.
      It certainly has the potential for making the creation of art more accessible. At the moment, it’s just another tool, and it still takes work. Where it will be in 5 years is another matter.
      Food for thought!
