Nice to see u back sir ! ❤ Its always fascinating to know ur indepth understanding of music ! That always inspire us to be like you one day ! Stay blessed and healthy ! ❤❤❤
Thanks Wazirji❤️❤️😊😊 I have been back for a while I guess sometimes I have to stop forcibly due to other tasks😅 Very nice to hear from you after a long time! Hope everything is going well on your side.
Beautifully played. I regret that I never learnt chords to add beauty to lead playing. I want to learn chords. What basic preparation do I need ? It's really a stupid question I asked you. But your valuable inputs will help me to start on right way.
Thank you very much 😊😊❤️❤️ For chords, we usually learn the shapes and strumming - how to give rhythm. So, one should start with the easier chords where just 2 fingers are used example Eminor with 1-2, 1-2 rhythm. Then after a week, go to A maj with the same rhythm pattern. After 1 week, go to B maj and so on. This way you will cover all maj and minor chords within 13-14 weeks. If you complete that, then I can tell you the next steps, which is to play the chords successively with the same 1-2 strumming pattern. Can write further in an email.
Almost there Wazirji, playing any 2 different notes at the same time, makes a chord😊 In rock playing Sa (1)and Pa (5) makes a power chord. Of course not used generally in light Indian music.
Indeed it's good to enjoy the way we can. When we started listening to music a few decades back, what impacted us was - the sound!!! Theory and other stuff is important but is secondary imo. Only because the sound or the melody affected us we try to follow the theory etc. So all in all, sound is of prime importance😊♥️🙏
This song is very very special to me i use to sing this at the age of about 4-5 year. What i observe later that because of intro music that ends with major so the mukhda follows the major as there is no clue of Gandhar in first line and where Gandhar comes first time that is flat, so in fact this is a minor scale song which starts with major. Thats RD Burman the Great
Absolutely, very well analyzed The Krow👍❤️ When Kishoreda sings hum hum, the first 2 notes are Sa and shudhha Ga, so they used the major chord. And when the mukhada starts there is no reference to gandhar initially as you rightly mentioned so the folks continued the usage of major till Komal ga is sung😊 The intro music also has a C7 when komal ni is used just before the intro ends! Some of these deviations from the main raag are totally missed by most of the people. It’s nice to know you used to sing this song as a child, your family must have been pleasantly astonished that you picked such a tough number. On the other hand, my favorite was dum Maro dum and my grandparents thought kya hoga is bachhe ka😅
@@ArunArvindMusic Before this song my favourite was OJulie o Sheela o Rano Jamaalo (Thodi si jo pi li hai)😄 after that i came to influence with discos of Bappi Lahri, than one day suddenly i hear Mere naina sawan bhaado and just becom crazy, I used to sing only and only this song for next few months. With this the musical journey starts in a new direction with Pancham Da. I love this man too much his work is the biggest asset of my life more than anything

Try to hold three notes together , that makes a chord !
