Hi Weronika, Noni here, from your Skillshare classes. Occasionally, lol. I’m so excited to see these classes on RUclips! I’m not with Skillshare any more, unfortunately, long story, and I thought that I wouldn’t be able to create any repeat pattern now I’m not in Skillshare, as the only people I know of that use Affinity Design are there. Everyone else uses the alternative yo Designer. But now you’ve come along here! I’ve had a huge life changing event happen (fire) and I’ve been questioning every element of my art as a consequence. I’ve realised representational painting doesn’t do it for me any more (this might change, as it’s second nature to me), and with much thought I came to realise abstract expression is what I want to move on to now. I’m not doing my art at the moment as I have another priority, but then I will be freed up and can throw myself into it. I’ll watch and save these videos though, and I’m really relieved and excited at the idea of being able to have the opportunity to play with Designer again, and with one of my favourite teachers!
