Vampire builds are disgusting, specially when you get coffin and the perk where your get 33% chance to send a brain out, they never get a chance to launch an ultimate, and you get so much health
500/10 = 50 so it'll be better to take apple if the enemy hits you more than 50 times. with 2700 health the enemy needs to hit les than: 2700/50 = 54 damage. So if the enemy hits you more than 54 after you bought the apple you are losing more with it. Ps.: I did not take into account healing in general.
I've already beaten this game. Already unlocked and ascended every character, unlocked all the permanent buffs, and even got my 2 favorite characters, The Pervy Priest and Mystic Wheeler to ascension 20. Pre-Bandleader was by far the hardest character to Ascend. I can't count how many times I burnt myself to death with her debt bomb before even Unlocking the next character 😂
The fact that both times Matt ran Beast Mode and was picking up Flexes and Double Flex, and the strength to health perk, he skipped "Hit the Gym" was so frustrating to see. I feel like this is a game where you need to build around making everything synergize, rather than trying to cover as many things as possible. The first character is a strength character, so going for Beast Mode, Power Heal, Hit The Gym, the strength-to-health, Double Flex, Harder Rock, and then just getting as many flexes and rocks as possible seems like it would be the best way to build him, as well as any early strength snowball perks, and obviously some income perks, at least in terms of offense. Axes and brains both seem like they should be ignored completely on the first character, thorns only really are worth getting if you get the thorns to strength perk, and vampires seem to be good, but a lower priority than the strength focused perks/relics. Healing/defense obviously seems to be important as well, although healing should probably be covered if you can get Power Heal and the right offense set up for him. Other than that, dodge over armor does seem to be preferable since damage can ramp above armor but dodge is all or nothing.
Yeah I don't think I have seen someone completely miss the fundamentals of the game so badly after 11 hours lol, very entertaining though! Nothing was complementing and he was missing those snowballing opportunities. Flex and Whatever is another good combo as Flex is an emoji which hits you allowing you to heal.
@@Crosleyq I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as much of his latter half of his playthroughs have been on stream, with his viewers constantly pushing him away from the right choices, but he also seems to be stuck in certain mindsets based on his early plays about what should be successful rather than seeing how certain perks and relics play together.
I would disagree on ignoring brains entirely but they definitely need specific things in your kit to make taking them good. You shouldn’t just take brains. If you were taking a lot of early vamp and income that can be an in to making brains worthwhile because you can have vamp sometimes launch brains that can make taking brain perks ok then you can take the one where they scale off income and then brains are just rocks but better so taking brains becomes strong and taking income also becomes strong. The stats need to align for brains to be good though you can’t just take it.
@@ultimaterecoil1136 my point was more that going for brains on the starting character doesn't really seem to be the ideal way to go, when he's clearly intended for a strength-focused build. Obviously if you focus on any one path and synergize around that, you should be able to make a build work, but working with your character's base build seems to make more sense than creating a build that doesn't incorporate the character's innate setup into it.
@@R0D3R1CKV10L3NC3 sometimes you just aren’t given the things that your character innately pairs well with. You can’t keep hoping for things you haven’t gotten one of half the game and that work out. Sometimes you just need to roll with what you are being given
He's also sleeping on the startup vulnerability. When he was going attack speed and many rock attacks, I was screaming at him through the screen to take the perk. Adds 3 extra damage at all damage dealing sources, each time you deal damage. He also sleeps on the energy perks. Overclock builds are busted on low energy cap characters
One thing i missed about ninja is that it is both offense and defence as it takes a weapon for you, removing it from the enemy. So it reduces the damage you take a bunch. Had a game with like 3 ninjas, lost but did well ^_^
Stop ignoring the axe :-D in your last run you would have more damage per axe than your ultimate, and you keep forgetting that the cards also add axes sometimes, not only what is on the left.. And you are keep taking overclock boost anduse the regular attack speed crds instead of the overclock ones :-D
Always the comment beating up on Matt’s archive channel for low views. You realize there’s not even 40,000 subscribers. That’s less then 2% the 2,000,000+ on his main channel
It gives 4 extra income per round. So first 4 then 8... that is if you make it to the last shop 1200 extra. After 8 rounds you have your investment back.

And the regen based on max health
Thorns + revenge build on joey makes my computer smoke lol

Takes the greed perk in the shop after buying 2 things that cost like 100 quid …. Classic Matt 😂
I normally don't sit and watch vods buuuuuut.... Here i am giving 2+ hours of eyeball and ear time...
I played this game for 7 hours when I first bought it... I have unlocked all the characters that are available currently and beat it once with The Keg
Same and won with the close combat dude and the Popstar (nr 2)

The paperclip is amazing as it fuses with the left hand and another item ^_^
You were launching a lot of axes with thorns.
Really surprises me that this game has 'Mostly Negative' reviews. I have had so much fun with it
2:18:07 the prince of Nigerian friended you, so that event did actually do something.
I was so surprised and laughted when it happened to me ^_^
I love this game so much
Hear me out, what if Matt played Palworld?

Squid gives 4 income. You can beat a total of 25 boss's from that shop. That's a total of 100 income.
You paid 100 for it...
Income gives money when you defeat an enemy. Squid gives 4 income when you defeat an enemy, not 4 money. I'll let you figure out the rest.
It is income.
So first battle it has earned 4
2nd 12
3rd 28
4th 48 and so on
It gives 4 extra income per round. So first 4 then 8... that is if you make it to the last shop 1200 extra. After 8 rounds you have your investment back.

Matt is being shadow Architechted by the algorithm it seems
No views after one min ... you fell off matt
