Nice looking trees, Steve. Always prep work to be done for the winter months. That little pine would make a nice bonsai Christmas tree with some mini lights around the pot.
Suppose wait until all leaves have turned color before cutting anything! Not a single leaf need be still green when u prune in fall. Otherwise u taking energy away and hurting the tree right b4 winter. Don't take my word for it, do ur research!
I’ve used a number of different things to seal fresh cuts, and I’m still evaluating what works best for me. So far I’m liking plain old rubber cement, which is what I use throughout this video.
Catching up on videos while enjoying a cup of tea. Pruning at its best with Bonsai Master, Steve.
Always happy to have the father of Mr. Weathertree, and Mr. Elephant in my backyard! Thanks Tom.
I really enjoyed this, Steve thank you for having us.
Thanks for being there Patricia.

Cool, hey Steve i just saw that you won the life of bonsai 7k giveaway congratulations!
That was very cool. And you were the one who let me know. I don’t have a Willow Leaf Ficus. Well, I guess now I do! Cheers Andrew.
Fully understand the big sigh when determining big cuts! I am not the best at handling risk!
It tears me up inside sometimes. Thanks Ryan.
What do you apply to the cut branch?
