I was born in 1990s in China, I can't say I have witnessed the poorest time of the country, but i do know that kind of feeling that one does not have the necessary income for his/her personal development and raising the family. Those days have passed for most of the chinese, and is just begining to become history for many places in Africa and Middle East through cooperation with China. Most of the people in western countries have never experienced that kind of feeling but they are supportive for their government to use every DlRTY tricks to put those people in the developing countris back into poverty, just so that the western supremacy could be maintained and they could keep expIoiting the world as wish, this is shamefuI and doomed to fail, as it's not the right track of human history.

The US 2 party system is an illusion for the masses. In reality, both are beholden for their re-election, to the voracious appetite of its establishment for concentrating wealth. That establishment includes the military industrial complex, that feeds on the profits it reaps, building weapons systems the US uses for its geopolitics and foreign wars. War is the essence of US civilization, not having had peace for more than 2 weeks, since before WW2. That's why, absent a strong leader, the US will not concede in any way to the power that will eclipse it within a few years.

I am extremely pleased that Kevin Rudd was invited. He not only knows and has been studying China in depth but he speaks perfect Chinese, which most American experts with impressive credentials do not. His approach to China, is thorough and more objective than the vast majority of US academics. Kevin Rudd provides a truthful description of the actual reality inside the Chinese society. In general, Australian foreign affairs professionals have a more balanced approach to political, economical and social issues. In fact Asia is their natural and most important strategic area, a topic they know and study permanently, using the most logical, and diverse analytical methods, including of course, the Chinese philosophical approach to matters of national interest. They understand the Chinese mentality very well because they are able to think like them. American academics and diplomats are trapped in their bubble of superiority, its a one way of thinking approach applicable to everything and everyone. I had the opportunity to work at a US Embassy in Southeast Asia. Observing both, US diplomats and Australian diplomats in action, was an eye opening experience that put in perspective crucial topics at a professional and personal level As a result, I would say that in matters related to Asia in general and China in particular,.......... "take all American opinions, with a grain of salt."

America never gained its independence from Britain. The City of London bankers still have a stranglehold on America's destiny. Many people mistakenly believe that the American Empire has overtaken and replaced the British Empire but don't realize that the British Empire is still very much alive today and in control of North America and the Anglo 5 Eyes Alliance. It should be plain obvious to people that most US foreign policy decisions are detrimental to America's self interest and orders must have come from a higher source outside of Washington.
As Matthew Ehret, editor of the Canadian Patriot Review explains, Cecil Rhodes' Round Table Movement on behalf of the British Empire since late 1800s has infiltrated America and US government is still very much beholden to the mother country, Britain. Decision making still comes from City of London bankers via their powerful think tanks such as Chatham House (Royal Institute for International Affairs - RIIA) & its US affiliate, Council on Foreign Relations. In essence, USA & Anglo 5 Eyes countries have never become fully sovereign nations.
Henry Kissinger & Zbigniew Brezinski were both mentored by the same Rhodes scholar and Kissinger even admitted that he had spent more time briefing British Foreign Office than his own US Foreign Office.

It’s been 7 years and they must have graduated and are or will be in positions where they can do something differently, hopefully make the world a better place. Trump and Biden, and Hilary, etc., they are too old to adapt to the new world order. Some people, when they get old, they are nicer, more generous, more considerate. But when politicians get old, they tend to be meaner, narrow-minded, aggressive, stubborn. US really needs a president who is smart, charming, open-minded, and most importantly, younger.

China is not a democracy. Is that something that democratic countries can work with, or not? It’s clear that democracy has weaknesses over a period of time as it seemingly allows less statesmanlike leadership to rise while non democratic countries can impose a fixed standard by basically limiting choice. The thing is, a lack of democracy has risks too, as dissent provides opportunity to adapt. Perhaps the solution is to, somehow, blend the two different systems together.

A lot of lives were lost not on Chinese or American soil but over a country that is still divided over 70 years later. In 1950 China had manpower and the US had the weapons of mass destruction.
