I am all for trading Skenes this off season. the Pirates are not going to win with him here, because there are just too many holes to fill. Plus, everyone knows that he will be gone once he reaches his arbitration years, especially if he continues to pitch like this. Therefore, by trading him this off season one would think that they could get a significant haul for him, which would help the Pirates in the long run.

Now he knows the Pirate modus operandi; you have to pitch complete game shutouts to have a CHANCE of being the winning pitcher.
