I said before we go and pay for a mobile mechanic or take it to the TA to get bent over, do me a favor, watch this video and take your hammer and crack on the AC Clutch. Low and behold, about half a pound of sand ( we haul frac sand) came out and the thing engaged! Thank you
Your video helped me too, my compressor clutch was stuck and I tapped it twice with a long screwdriver and it start spinning. Wow, I was very skeptical at first but when I saw it working again I could not believe my eyes what an easy fix was l. Thank you so much bro, God bless you
After watching parts one and two of your videos I went out and figured I didn't have anything to lose. Sure enough the clutch wasn't engaging and I tapped it a few times it started working. I shut the truck off and started it back up and sure enough the clutch engaged. So now I'm going to spray it down and see how it does. Thanks a lot because I was already pricing compressors.

I was sweating all day long... Just parked at a truck stop for the night, watched this video, and hit the AC clutch with a screwdriver, it popped back on and my AC is ice cold again! So I will get a good night's sleep! And will fix it properly over the weekend. Thank you so much

Mine kept sticking every five minutes after I would hit it. I drove around for a week with no ac because I can’t keep stopping. A friend told me to leave the ac all the way on high and it will stay cold and not stick. He was right! LEAVE AC ALL THE WAY WAY UP as high as it will go. The truck will get cold but I just turn the vents away from me. Better than driving/sleeping in 100 degree weather with no ac! Good luck!!
Second time this video saved me from a ticked off driver with no AC. 1. I always walk them through the AC reset 2. If that doesnt work I text them a link to this video and have them tap the AC clutch and viola!
Hello I have a freightliner Cascadia has no cold air in front but has cold air in rear , I did replaced EXPANSIVE VALVE on the front side, recharge the freon , but it did not change anything , front still has no cold air, and rear has really cold air . hello sir, Yes you can just replece the clutch pulley on the a/c compressor. The issue that you may have is the pulley bearing seized up and may have spun on the front of the compressor nose cone and will damage it. ... You may need to replace compressor

does this still work if the fans down blow? its on speed 8 but its like its off, I can feel the AC works, because when I am rolling I feel cold air coming out on very low speed, then fans work perfectly in the bunk
My clutch use to stop and i had to hit it to start it but one day i took a hammer and hit the clutch as hard as i can with engine off a couple of times sprayed DW40 in between the clutch and compressor and hit it a few more times until i start seeing dirt fall out of it and other stuff then i had no problem with air and getting out to do that again
If your AC is blowing warm check out video "How to reset your AC in a Cascadia" you can do it from inside the cab by pushing the two buttons on the fan speed and temperature control switches
Mess around and chew up your hand to try to get enough space to hit that. Naw man. If it's locked up just turn it off and roll to go get it fixed asap. There's no short cut for this...

I had a problem with my AC compressor. I did exactly what you said. It works. If you add a little bit of Lucas oil, it will last even longer.

It could be low on freon, check the hoses and condenser for freon leaks

yes when the ac is activated the clutch starts to spin, it stops for a little but it starts spinning (it does a cycle)

You can replace the entire ac compresor or just the clutch, i recommended new ac compresor
