He’s literally a walking living embodiment of Wade Foster’s “Team Roper’s Anthem” 😂😂😂

You're the first roper, Patrick Smith, that I've heard say how Leo Camarillo would work on other ropers' heads at ropings. He would tell a guy, when the guy rode into the box, that he hoped the guy's horse would make a good run after seeing him stumble or limp. The guy would be so distracted about how his horse was traveling that he would miss his steer. That kind of stuff is how Leo won a lot of times. Only the insiders knew how he was.

Good grief small world I remember Patrick. I never realized. I worked for Bobby, went to different schools together with Seth. I remember THIS was the guy that almost didn't make it to San Antonio in time one year hauling Bobby's horses, almost got us all fired. God bless Gary Hightower. He saved all of our jobs back then 😆 Congrats on your success bud!

Stan Mcnerlin and Lori Lee mcnerlin from midland Texas are two of the greatest people I’ve met! Went to school with thier boys and Stan taught me to heel as well! I grew up seeing distance from Patrick’s dad’s house off rankin highway! Patrick is one of the greats!

Tanner lived less than a mile from where I grew up. I worked at the feed store in Angleton and sold him feed a few times. Crazy to see him having the national success!
