Dang! The story of this man just told needs to be shown to every high school kid in America. Rodeo dreams or not, that is SUCCESS!! You gotta want it!
With out a doubt one of your top 5 podcast if not #1!! Keep up the great work !
"You got 5 brains running down the arena...4 and a half with the header." that absolutely sent me yesterday listening to this
He’s literally a walking living embodiment of Wade Foster’s “Team Roper’s Anthem” 😂😂😂
You're the first roper, Patrick Smith, that I've heard say how Leo Camarillo would work on other ropers' heads at ropings. He would tell a guy, when the guy rode into the box, that he hoped the guy's horse would make a good run after seeing him stumble or limp. The guy would be so distracted about how his horse was traveling that he would miss his steer. That kind of stuff is how Leo won a lot of times. Only the insiders knew how he was.
Many thanks, great podcast & I one I will listen to again. Thanks for getting time in with Mr. Smith and letting his story unfold. Loved the stay driven mindset.
Great interview, I’m not a cowboy or anything, but my grandson likes watching your stuff. I tripped up and listened to this interview what a great interview with tons of life lessons! Keep it up seems like a bunch of great guys out there in the rodeo world.
You should do a podcast with his partner Tanner, completely opposite come up
Really enjoyed this one. Patrick not only has some great stories to tell but also some great advice to pass on. Again, really enjoyed it.
I love that y’all gave him the time to really dig deep into his story. Patrick’s got such an amazing story & is such a great guy so I’m thankful y’all gave him this platform for us to all hear it
Good grief small world I remember Patrick. I never realized. I worked for Bobby, went to different schools together with Seth. I remember THIS was the guy that almost didn't make it to San Antonio in time one year hauling Bobby's horses, almost got us all fired. God bless Gary Hightower. He saved all of our jobs back then 😆 Congrats on your success bud!
Patrick is the man! Love hearing his story and seeing what he's been able to accomplish in the rodeo world.
I just ❤ these rodeo cowboy interviews. So much to learn from them! Keep ‘em comin’ Dale Brisby!
Stan Mcnerlin and Lori Lee mcnerlin from midland Texas are two of the greatest people I’ve met! Went to school with thier boys and Stan taught me to heel as well! I grew up seeing distance from Patrick’s dad’s house off rankin highway! Patrick is one of the greats!
This was such a great podcast! You should make a shirt “Win or lose, on to the next one”!
Tanner lived less than a mile from where I grew up. I worked at the feed store in Angleton and sold him feed a few times. Crazy to see him having the national success!
Awesome video!
tanner is my cousin.
This was a great listen!!! Have a whole new respect for this guy
Lived down there in Odessa great place to be from.
Hey here is an idea. If you have a podcast have the sound where you can hear it.
