The 4106 was a tasteful upgrade to the 4104, an already well-proven coach and a classic design to begin with.
The orange coach is very striking in color and super condition. Thanks for creating this great video.

I also drove the 4104 and 4106. The 4106 felt like a hotrod. It also handled well. Love the video.

I love vintage buses, we had some PD4104 operating in a company Viação Cometa and others in the 60s, salutes from Brazil

Thanks for posting! When I was driving for Greyhound in the late 1960s, the late-model 4106 was always my favorite bus.

I recall brown and orange transit busses in N NJ during the 50’s -70’s.

@@KutWrite they were built between 1961 - 65 and they don't come with 6V71 N only 8V71 N Detroit Diesel engines with 4speed manual Transmission you can get it as a Commuter Coach or Coach from GMC

Most aren't naturally aspirated. It was standard for 4106's to have supercharged 8V71's.

@@jasonwiles2604 Probaly the first Detroi Diesel engines to be aspirated.

Everything about this PD 4106 looks like old #104 of the Fitchburg & Leominster Street Railway Co. In MA. Until they got the Buffalo buses, there was none better.

I agree 100%. We will never see any of today's current public or otherwise transportation busses on the road 60 years, 50, 40 or even 10 years from now, today's junk is disposable, sad if you think about it, the money that the City bilkes from it's Citizens to maintain, upgrade etc.. is literally trashed because like a modern computer which is Obsolete within 10 min of purchase, goes the way for transportation...IMOP...
