Lyrics:
I've never been on a farm.
I thought it would do no harm
To take a drive down an old dirt road to a country place.
The rain turned the road to mud.
The car stopped with a terrible thud.
Stepped out slipped and fell right on my face.
Eew, mud!
[Chorus]
I better wash my knees (Wash my knees),
Wash my toes (Wash my toes),
Wash my shoulders (Shoulders),
Wash my nose (Wash my nose).
All over my body, with soapy suds.
Now I'm clean, clean, clean. No more mud.
Then I saw a big brown horse,
And I thought, "Well, why of course.
I'll simply ride that steed right back to town"
So I pulled myself on up, gave a kick and said "Giddy-up!"
The horse bucked me off and I landed on the ground.
Eew, mud!
[Chorus]
Walking miles through fields of corn
Until the bottom of my shoes were worn
And every bone and muscle in my body was hurting.
I walked and walked until I dropped
And then a farmer on a tractor stopped
And he said, "Son, you're dirty!"
Eew, mud!
[Chorus]
The farmer drove me home on his tractor rig
He said, "Come back some day and see my filthy,
See my dirty,
See my filthy, dirty, sloppy, muddy pig.
But you better bring soap!"
To wash my knees (Wash my knees),
Wash my toes (Wash my toes),
Was my shoulders (Shoulders),
Wash my nose (Wash my nose).
All over my body, with soapy suds
Now I'm clean, clean, clean. No more mud.
I'm clean, clean, clean. No more mud!
As a kid I noticed that the even though the kid getting sprayed by water was the funniest things ever, but I saw their is a delay in the hose.
Also the kid in the red shirt is my spirit animal he is the best dancer.
Hey, you’re right! There is a delay in the hose!
I believe in the first verse, the singer had said, "To take a drive down an old dirt road to a country place."
In fact, the "dirt" was what explained why the road was turned into mud when it rained.
"Stepped out, slipped, and fell right on my face."
And in the second verse, "I'll simply ride that steed right back to town" was actually part of the same thought as "Well, why, of course." Oh, and before short quotes, where there's a colon (or lack of punctuation) is supposed to be a comma.
Thank you! I think I fixed lyrics for both versions of the song now. I don't know how I missed this comment.
@@gimigugustiucu Anytime on both counts.
This song just came into my head and I'm so glad I found this
I remember playing this computer game in elementary school and when I clicked on the radio, this song I always played when I had a chance.
This takes me back to when I found this in 4th grade.
Anyone else notice that black dot floating just above the kid in the red shirt?
Dancing bug is the only explanation I will accept
😊
Look at that class pet hamster go!
1:06 Eww mud
Am I the only one who think that blonde haired kid in the green shirt looks like Bobby Hill?
Yup.
Nope.
The word I think you were missing in the third verse is "worn."
+Josh Freilich Thanks!
