  • Title Gel Tri-Brid Training Gloves Review.
12/11/2013 - Update: I've been using these glove for bag work and mitt work and I gotta say that as bag gloves they are excellent, however I was right on feeling some of the impact when catching punches. Specially when not using any hand protection like hand wraps. Next I will test them out sparring and will give you guys an update.

I did not like them, I had a hard time getting them on they have no Velcro strap that elastic enclosure is not practical for catching punches; you will feel the entire hit because they have no padding on the catching area. I wish I had seen this video before I spent $99.99 I have sent them back and asked for store credit.

TITLE is hit and miss. It's a mid-tier brand at best. I own the GEL Intense gloves and the weight is horribly off for 16 ounce gloves (nearly 2 pounds for each glove). Fighting Sports aren't bad but they're just rebranded TITLE Platinum gloves made to look like WINNING so the company can charge a higher asking price. Ringside is much better. I've heard a few horror stories about their equipment, but my IMF Pro Style Training gloves are great.

I think Title was just trying to come out with something new but didn't really test the product before putting out in the market. I did use the mitts/gloves for sparring and for mitt work with one of the pro fighters I work with and was displeased with them when catching punches because the mitts/gloves tend to slip too much. Like I said before, they do make nice bag gloves.

Hi Pedro- I had the Title Gel World training gloves and I love the feel of the gel and wrist protection but they were heavy. I had the 16 oz gloves but they felt a lot heavier than your normal 16 oz gloves. As for the Everlast, I used some of their older sparring glove models which were okay but they fall apart very quickly. I do not like any glove that has injected foam. As for sparring gloves, I like Winning, Reyes, Grant and Fighting, preferably lace up but the velcro are okay.

Pedro Cefas In bag gloves both are good but for sparring Fighting are more comfortable.
