If they (Hasbro) were going to put a medium vehicle with a NON premium looking figure, obviously they don't even know WHO are they trying to sell this set. Even more when the vehicle is THAT pricey. It's a good looking plastic TOY car and is worth abouts $80 because of the LED lights $60 without them plus two $25 figures so how in the hell does that add up to $400!?

We complained about all the Haslab prices being high but can you get any of them for that original price now? The secondary market for all of them is nearly doubled, so in retrospect the initial prices were a bargain if your trying to get one now.

Car looks great, but not for 350 and i am not a huge Ghost Rider fan, so i am passing. I missed out on the Sentinel. Hasbro needs to re-issue it with ratchet joints, just include some battle damage parts and the tentacles.
Haslab's don't get "re-issued". They're supposed to be one of a kind to justify their higher price. You could always get them on the aftermarket. I always see them available for purchase.

However if they did a straight up re-release after they told us this was one of a kind, I wouldn't spend one more penny on Hasbro products. I'm sure there are a lot of collectors that would agree with me.
@@immortalsennin605 Yeah but there are also people that missed out. For example the Sail Barge was only for US/Canada and the worldwide sale was done on eBay and sold out in minutes. I do not think anyone would mind a reissue as long as the carded exclusive figures are not included.
This being more than the HISS tank make it hard. Is this priced with the idea of all the tiers being unlocked? But then it leaves less faith in what those tiers really represent. If this funds without any tiers, what happens? Does the project feel priced right for the base offerings? I’m not so sure.
I watch channels of collectors to get good information on action figures and I must say, you're definitely a good one to follow. The fact you think that this figure is anywhere near worth the price is simply crazy.
With the exchange rate today $350 would cost $464 Canadian. Plus 15% sales tax and 5% import tax you’d be at $565 Canadian and that is not including shipping which would probably add another $100 Canadian to the total. This will cost around $700 Canadian.
It is unacceptable for Hasbro to base the price of the figure on the totality of the backing. They need to show everything that it will come with they need to knock the backing tier s*** off and just put everything out there from the very beginning if it's worth it then it's worth it, but if it's not then it's not. But playing surprise guess which Pokémon this is, is not going to get people to back something for $350 when it's a $60 vehicle, $20 worth of accessories and a $30 base figure. In no Realm of the imagination is that worth $350 they're out of their goddamn minds.
First off, with today's pricing that is not a $60 car. A car of that size in a line like this would be more like $100 with the moving parts, paint, and electronics. The accessories would be closer to $40 right now. So figure the car alone is $140. There are two base figures if it gets backed in a week, and you get the second figure regardless of when you back it as long as the goal is met in a week. So it is basically a timed tier. There is no reason not to place an order now and cancel later if people don't like the unlocks so it would be silly for this to not meet the timed early bird tier. Let's assume that tier is met, so that's 2 base figures. So let's call it $66 in 6 inch figures since they are exclusives with the current price for basic exclusives being $33 now. That alone gives you $206. The unlocks are always going to be baked into the price and let's assume 4 unlocks as tat is pretty much standard. We pretty much know one of them is Mephisto which will likely be an all new deluxe figure. That $40 min right there retail for a wide release deluxe at current prices. Assume at least another deluxe style figure for another $40 and assume one more regular figure for $33. That's &113 in figures and likely one of the unlocks will be some more accessories of some kind. That's probably another $30. So another $143 at current retail. That comes to $349. The issue is this Haslab is being compared to past Haslabs that were less expensive. Sentinel was the same price, but done during a MUCH stronger economy and before all the price hikes and inflation. Plus, there were stimulus checks going out. Galactus was $50 and was at the start of price increases, but still before the hyper inflation we see today. Doing a Haslab now, you are going to see all the higher prices reflected in this. It sucks, but this is no more over priced than the regular legends releases. Personally, I don't care about Ghost Rider so this was never going to interest me. That being said, people saying the prices are too high is just silly when you compare to other current prices. This is the world we live in now. These are the prices for collectibles and it isn't just Hasbro raising prices. McFarlane is the only company that I haven't seen raise prices, but they have seen cut backs in paint and sculpt re-use has increased. Many collectors are finding their breaking point and if this project is your breaking point then that's up to you, but complaining about it isn't going to change anything.

You are paying $350 for a car and 2 figures. It is not worth it. The tiers are bonuses, they should not be looked at as part of pricing. If the follow the last Haslab you will need 2k per tier. Goodluck unlocking all tiers.
So this are my 2 cents, even if the accesories are really good looking i think they made a por choice for a haslab, the leed is good but how often is someone gonna use it for real. second: whats the point of the inner car working like a real one, who wants adjustable seats and a working gear lever who's gonna use it, all of this where made in purpouse just to make people think it's a premium toy but in reality is kind of an overpriced chunk of plastic Besides, if you put that thing on your shelf is gonna take a loooot of room for another figures so i don't know who the tatget audience is (completist i guess) And to end my charade: making Mephisto a tier for this Is kinda scummy, how loong have been waiting for that one just to end being locked behind a project that isnt even available in all the world
350 for a 1/12 figure and a car ain’t worth it The sentinel made sense cuz it was a huge chunk of plastic plus it came with 3 different heads , light, accessories and extra figures Same with galactus but this ghost rider is a 25$ dollar fig alone the car 100$-150$ at max plus the extra fig is not even guarantee to get it but like you said if it was a 3 never seen figures + the car and hella accessories it makes sense

Ok, so I'm going to point something out. I bought to first two haslab ML projects and wasn'tworried about the price, I don't know about this. Back a few years ago, mattel had a 7 inch scale justice league batmobile with a MSRP of $250. It has lights, sounds, a smoke feature, came with a batman (not the best but not the worst....) and it was also drivable through an app on your phone. For me again this is not worth it. I'm not saying it's going to be bad, but the new state of how hasbro has been treating ML (lack of paint, lack of new sculpt, lack of good articulation, lack of accessories), the car alone would not be worth the purchase. I wish they would have done a new Fin Fang Foom the size of the last haslabs.
Hasbro is on crack. Mattel and McFarlane both have vehicles on shelves right now that are both under $50. The extra figures and LEDs do not make this worth $350.

Just looking at the pics it looks amazing and is something different. Having a dedicated Robbie Reyes figure is a good idea. You can pop him elsewhere in your display. Sadly I don't have that kind of cash to blow on a plastic car.
It's weird because for example the 1/10 rc hot wheels batmobile with lights is 100 bucks, good price for a black plastic car This one is 1/12 and it's 350, if we remove like 100 bucks let's say from the early bird figure and the other 2 figures, I think it's only 2, that will be tiers, it's a 250 bucks black plastic car with a 30 bucks figure so it's a 220 bucks car with lights and flame effects, I still think it's a bit too much The hiss tank was 300 everything, and it has 4 figures total if I'm not mistaken, just like the ghost rider haslab, lights and interchangeable parts for different looks, just like the ghost rider haslab, it's also a tank so it's a bit more intricate than a straight up car I think, but anyway they are pretty much the same I'd say and one is 50 bucks more expensive, might not seem a lot but I think it is Another example is the Mattel justice league ultimate rc batmobile from 2017, that car is much bigger than the this ghost rider one, it had electronics, sounds, lights, smoke effects and it came with a figure, and it was all like 250 bucks Idk I don't think this ghost rider haslab should be just 150 or 200 max total like some say but I think 300 should be the max price, ideally 250 imo
I decided to try and back this. with that said if don't get the early bird figure, I'm canceling this and also I've canceled probably over 400 dollars worth of Hasbro items to afford this. was items like beast with a lab coat even though I have beast already. think kinda done with this hobby. at a point just getting what i absolutely have to get to finish say a set(need swoop and snarl as examples).
I hear you on factoring in all tiers but I still feel 299.99 with 4 exclusive figures would be more fair. Only because it's a car not a fully articulated figure and the figures aren't any different than a regular release.

I agree $350 is a very high price; when I think of hasbro I think of cheap toys; no paint, no accessories, no free comic, a bunch of recycle parts, not hot toy quality, or hot wheel die cast quality.

Plastic manufacturing is much less than before the pandemic, overseas factory workers are paid more since, and theres still a manpower shortage, which means less output, which equals a higher price per unit. and thats not even counting shipping fees (which are ridiculous right now) and inflation. These costs inch up literally every week and adult collectors need to either understand their toys are not safe from the world we all live in, OR just give up collecting, cuz their complaints about toy prices mean nothing in the real world.

I got the Batman remote control car a while back. It didn’t cost this much. I’m having a hard time wanting this . I was out of comics when this guy came out. Agent of shield was meh. I’m pretty sure everyone is complaining about the price. Nearly every video and comment section I’ve seen on this are saying it’s really expensive for what you’re getting.
People could get two to have the normal n fire modes of the car. Specially if they unlock the normal Robbie. People asking for it to be $150 to $200 are kinda kidding themselves a bit too tho, typically transparent plastics are much harder to work with so all that fire definitely would cost them a tad extra than normal. Set aside also the inclusion of all those LEDs. The car alone would be $275 ish considering all it comes with. So ATM without any bonuses it's a clean $300 set. Obviously still below asking price but with bonuses unlocked yeh this will likely be worth while more than likely! Specially if they throw in a glowing ghost rider bike xD dat be sick imo. You know to have them side by side both lit up n stuff!

They're saying it could have been someone more interesting and meaningful in a display like Danny Ketch, Johnny Blaze, Vengeance, the Og ghost rider, etc. Getting the same figure twice is pretty much a slap in the face!
I get why people are crying about the price but this was an instant buy for me. I ended up getting 2. We have almost no 1/12 vehicles. If this gets backed fully it will show there's a market and we can stop customizing turtle vans and bratz cars just to have vehicles. My Blade and my Punisher will look great in this.

I just ran it for me in Canada and it was 435.03 converting that to Canadian is 587. Lol absolutely ridiculous price for that car smh

We complained about all the Haslab prices being high but can you get any of them for that original price now? The secondary market for all of them is nearly doubled, so in retrospect the initial prices were a bargain if your trying to get one now.

Car looks great, but not for 350 and i am not a huge Ghost Rider fan, so i am passing. I missed out on the Sentinel. Hasbro needs to re-issue it with ratchet joints, just include some battle damage parts and the tentacles.
Haslab's don't get "re-issued". They're supposed to be one of a kind to justify their higher price. You could always get them on the aftermarket. I always see them available for purchase.

However if they did a straight up re-release after they told us this was one of a kind, I wouldn't spend one more penny on Hasbro products. I busted my ass in the lead up to that Haslab to get multiple Sentinels so I wouldn't miss out. So a re-release would piss me off to no end. I'm sure there are a lot of collectors that would agree with me.

This being more than the HISS tank make it hard. Is this priced with the idea of all the tiers being unlocked? But then it leaves less faith in what those tiers really represent. If this funds without any tiers, what happens? Does the project feel priced right for the base offerings? I’m not so sure.
I watch channels of collectors to get good information on action figures and I must say, you're definitely a good one to follow. The fact you think that this figure is anywhere near worth the price is simply crazy.

With the exchange rate today $350 would cost $464 Canadian. Plus 15% sales tax and 5% import tax you’d be at $565 Canadian and that is not including shipping which would probably add another $100 Canadian to the total. This will cost around $700 Canadian.

It is unacceptable for Hasbro to base the price of the figure on the totality of the backing. They need to show everything that it will come with they need to knock the backing tier s*** off and just put everything out there from the very beginning if it's worth it then it's worth it, but if it's not then it's not. But playing surprise guess which Pokémon this is, is not going to get people to back something for $350 when it's a $60 vehicle, $20 worth of accessories and a $30 base figure. In no Realm of the imagination is that worth $350 they're out of their goddamn minds.
First off, with today's pricing that is not a $60 car. A car of that size in a line like this would be more like $100 with the moving parts, paint, and electronics. The accessories would be closer to $40 right now. So figure the car alone is $140.
There are two base figures if it gets backed in a week, and you get the second figure regardless of when you back it as long as the goal is met in a week. So it is basically a timed tier. There is no reason not to place an order now and cancel later if people don't like the unlocks so it would be silly for this to not meet the timed early bird tier. Let's assume that tier is met, so that's 2 base figures. So let's call it $66 in 6 inch figures since they are exclusives with the current price for basic exclusives being $33 now.
That alone gives you $206.
The unlocks are always going to be baked into the price and let's assume 4 unlocks as tat is pretty much standard. We pretty much know one of them is Mephisto which will likely be an all new deluxe figure. That $40 min right there retail for a wide release deluxe at current prices. Assume at least another deluxe style figure for another $40 and assume one more regular figure for $33. That's &113 in figures and likely one of the unlocks will be some more accessories of some kind. That's probably another $30. So another $143 at current retail. That comes to $349.
The issue is this Haslab is being compared to past Haslabs that were less expensive. Sentinel was the same price, but done during a MUCH stronger economy and before all the price hikes and inflation. Plus, there were stimulus checks going out. Galactus was $50 and was at the start of price increases, but still before the hyper inflation we see today. Doing a Haslab now, you are going to see all the higher prices reflected in this. It sucks, but this is no more over priced than the regular legends releases.
Personally, I don't care about Ghost Rider so this was never going to interest me. That being said, people saying the prices are too high is just silly when you compare to other current prices. This is the world we live in now. These are the prices for collectibles and it isn't just Hasbro raising prices. McFarlane is the only company that I haven't seen raise prices, but they have seen cut backs in paint and sculpt re-use has increased. Many collectors are finding their breaking point and if this project is your breaking point then that's up to you, but complaining about it isn't going to change anything.

You are paying $350 for a car and 2 figures. It is not worth it. The tiers are bonuses, they should not be looked at as part of pricing. If the follow the last Haslab you will need 2k per tier. Goodluck unlocking all tiers.
So this are my 2 cents, even if the accesories are really good looking i think they made a por choice for a haslab, the leed is good but how often is someone gonna use it for real. second: whats the point of the inner car working like a real one, who wants adjustable seats and a working gear lever who's gonna use it, all of this where made in purpouse just to make people think it's a premium toy but in reality is kind of an overpriced chunk of plastic
Besides, if you put that thing on your shelf is gonna take a loooot of room for another figures so i don't know who the tatget audience is (completist i guess)

Same with galactus but this ghost rider is a 25$ dollar fig alone the car 100$-150$ at max plus the extra fig is not even guarantee to get it but like you said if it was a 3 never seen figures + the car and hella accessories it makes sense

Ok, so I'm going to point something out. I bought to first two haslab ML projects and wasn'tworried about the price, I don't know about this. Back a few years ago, mattel had a 7 inch scale justice league batmobile with a MSRP of $250. It has lights, sounds, a smoke feature, came with a batman (not the best but not the worst....) and it was also drivable through an app on your phone. For me again this is not worth it. I'm not saying it's going to be bad, but the new state of how hasbro has been treating ML (lack of paint, lack of new sculpt, lack of good articulation, lack of accessories), the car alone would not be worth the purchase. I wish they would have done a new Fin Fang Foom the size of the last haslabs.

It's weird because for example the 1/10 rc hot wheels batmobile with lights is 100 bucks, good price for a black plastic car
This one is 1/12 and it's 350, if we remove like 100 bucks let's say from the early bird figure and the other 2 figures, I think it's only 2, that will be tiers, it's a 250 bucks black plastic car with a 30 bucks figure so it's a 220 bucks car with lights and flame effects, I still think it's a bit too much
The hiss tank was 300 everything, and it has 4 figures total if I'm not mistaken, just like the ghost rider haslab, lights and interchangeable parts for different looks, just like the ghost rider haslab, it's also a tank so it's a bit more intricate than a straight up car I think, but anyway they are pretty much the same I'd say and one is 50 bucks more expensive, might not seem a lot but I think it is
Another example is the Mattel justice league ultimate rc batmobile from 2017, that car is much bigger than the this ghost rider one, it had electronics, sounds, lights, smoke effects and it came with a figure, and it was all like 250 bucks

The price point is only meant to be for the base offering not including the tiers. If a haslab doesn’t make its tiers then it should be able to stand on its own as good value. That’s the point of them. It is a marketing by hasbro trick to rationalise it with the tiers.

the price is "high" to ppl who dont like spending money, but its not high considering production costs these days. Plastic manufacturing is much less than before the pandemic, overseas factory workers are paid more since, and theres still a manpower shortage, which means less output, which equals a higher price per unit. and thats not even counting shipping fees (which are ridiculous right now) and inflation. These costs inch up literally every week and adult collectors need to either understand their toys are not safe from the world we all live in, OR just give up collecting, cuz their complaints about toy prices mean nothing in the real world.

People asking for it to be $150 to $200 are kinda kidding themselves a bit too tho, typically transparent plastics are much harder to work with so all that fire definitely would cost them a tad extra than normal. Set aside also the inclusion of all those LEDs. The car alone would be $275 ish considering all it comes with. So ATM without any bonuses it's a clean $300 set. Obviously still below asking price but with bonuses unlocked yeh this will likely be worth while more than likely!

They're saying it could have been someone more interesting and meaningful in a display like Danny Ketch, Johnny Blaze, Vengeance, the Og ghost rider, etc. Getting the same figure twice is pretty much a slap in the face!
I get why people are crying about the price but this was an instant buy for me. I ended up getting 2. We have almost no 1/12 vehicles. If this gets backed fully it will show there's a market and we can stop customizing turtle vans and bratz cars just to have vehicles. My Blade and my Punisher will look great in this.
