Gavin Jones well the charger doesn't have the best handling and he didn't go all out cuz he couldn't until the final straightaway. You could hear the supercharger constantly opening and closing since he lets off the gas a lot to avoid oversteering the corners with all that power. Just remember that power doesn't equal maneuverability
Takumifuji86 I'm well aware of the Chargers short comings in the handling department. They were built on a ladder frame which made the chassis flex while turning and the live rear axle didn't help any. They also had undersized brakes. stock they had either all drum, and front disk on the high trim models with rear disk as an option. if you want them to handle better these days you basically have to rebuild the whole car. this one from what I can tell has been upgraded quite a bit. steering is sharper then a stock Charger and the braking is quicker as well

Fanboy comments to follow: 1) Lot of comments about the FnF Charger. Not quite, but there is an easter egg here: In the BTS commentary, the builder responsible for turning out the HellCharger actually used the BDS blower cover from FnF. Hence the look. Toretto's Charger was always a 1970 model though, easily discernible by the chrome "loop" bumper up front. The HellCharger is a '69. What can I say? I'm a diehard vintage Charger fan... 2) The BTS commentary also showed that the engine was NONE of Mopar's real performance engines---just a mildly tweaked 400, which was a smog motor, and only fair-to-middling in stock trim. The blower's not even real---they actually built a frame and hard-mounted the blower cover to the hood with elastic mounts so it would "shake" when the stunt driver goosed it. 3) And Mack's right---without her "flight mode", L.O.L.A. doesn't stand a chance against a sledgehammer of a musclecar like a Charger. Once Robbie hit the straightaway, that race was over. (Spoiler alert: Coulson gets help from an invisible friend.....)
0:58 This scene reminds me of the scene in the fast and furious movie when dom and Paul did their last race before dom's Dodge carger hit a truck and flipped his car over. In that scene, Robbie, the car is the same as the Dodge carger, like Dom's, but when he saw a truck, he immediately stepped aside as if he didn't want to repeat the mistakes and negligence that Dom did. Very nostalgic.
I love both the vette and the charger. In real life that supercharged charger would dominate but in agents of shield "lola" isnt a typical vette it has some enhancements that make it formidable with the charger in speed. Robbie reyes did great as ghost rider in a.o..s.
Ramon Vargas but with a whole lot less of them wrecking these classics, Hollywood is making them go extinct and I prefer a franchise that lasted too long to die out over these classics dying out for money
The charger looks to be just playing with the corvette it looks like the charger is telling the corvette come on you can do it just try to keep up lol and that supercharger sound OMG I love it
If that was a 67 Corvette it would destroy it with their 427. Plus Coulson's Vette is heavily modified and probably has a more powerful engine to be able to fly so quickly.
wow, whoever handled the audio for this show even knew to include "blower surge" into the sound effects. Even if its at the wrong times, who doesn't love the sound of the surge...
A 280hp 1958 corvette is keeping up with a probably 700+ hp charger, which is controlled by a demon and can probably break the fucking sound barrier. Great driving there, Robbie.
I love Dodge more than his bike Of they modified dodge also with skulls and exhaust that threw flame out like flame thrower that dodge mad and than i love more. More powerful than bike Both combo amazing 🔥
You're not wrong. Robbie's Hell Charger in this show is an adaptation of his Hell Charger in the comics, which in turn was inspired by and based on Dom's Charger in the original Fast and the Furious.
One of the rare mistake , the sound that keep doing the pfffssss from the charger of the Ghostrider is the sounds of a turbo releasing the to much pressure by the waste gate, that any mechanical enthusiasts knows, wiles the car acutely as a supercharged instead that doesn’t makes the same sounds, it’s very different from a supercharged it’s gonna have a continued whistle as the blower spinning

No, Robbie Reyes really is not a Ghost Rider. The Ghost Rider is a spirit of vengeance that is passed on, but the one inside Robbie is actually a demon. Either way, he is not a true Ghost Rider.
The MCU version of Robbie Reyes actually is a true Ghost Rider because Johnny Blaze gives him the Spirit of Vengeance. However, the comic version isn't.
