Thanks for this video. It was really helpful. I have one question though. How do I interchange coffee and tea bars on the chart?

Excellent! I had a couple of extra steps and a couple of fewer steps because we're running different versions of excel, but I got the job done within your eight minute video. Any suggestions on how to apply this to a spreadsheet with thousands of lines then filter it down by date range and or by product?

Thanks Mike, glad it worked out. If the user will be picking the product and date range from the pivot table, then this may cause problems as the pivot chart will potentially reset. You may want to create a pivot table and then create a static data set from that pivot table for the data you desire. If you need help, please submit a contact form on my site and I will respond and see if I can help.

I'm hoping you can help- how can I annotate the net change within a category over the course of three years (series) within a stacked bar graph? In other words if category a was 64.7 in 2015, 60 in 2016 and 58.1 in 2017, how can I display -6.6 total change on the graph? Do you have a tutorial on this? Thank you so much in advance!

Hi Steve - this was a great tutorial, however I cant seem to find where the "CHART AREA" section is located inside excel 2016 to assign/change the left and right axis. Could you please let me know what are the steps I need to perform?

      Hi Mohammad,
You can Double Click on the Data Series that you want to change and a dialog box on the right side of the screens should show up. Then click on the Series Options on the Right. Then change the axis. Hope this helps!

Help pls, I cannot add a calculated item due to error "This PivotTable report field is grouped. You cannot add a calculated item to grouped field."

Hi Richard, does it have to be grouped? If yes, then can you also add the field 1 more time not grouped you are looking to add for your calculated field. Then don't show it in the chart. Just a thought. No experience with it though.
