I have had 3 surgeries on my legs/hip, non fitness related. I did track and field in college, crossfit for many years, then my own S&C. I hadn't run much of anything since 2018 because of my injuries. My buddy got me into hyrox and I am really enjoying it! I did legs heavy and consistently all this time, but the running has been a bitch to return to.. my calves being the most stubborn to acclimate. You're right.. over striding and over training them was the issue! At 210 I had to adjust my running significantly, but your tips and strategies helped that, so.. thank you!
Glassman is the man, and he's coming back soon, his non-compete comes to an end this year. Bro, it's admirable and refreshing to see someone like you call bullshit out so readily when we are surrounded by a sea of deceit
I don't think he has to come back, he moved upstream to medical field, think he will blow that up too which will positively affect Crossfit which is downstream from that
Hunter, i recently watched Fergus Crawleys video on what is a hybrid athlete. And it got me thinking, by definition, your not really a hybrid athlete, because your separate professions in fitness correspond to each other. Nick bare is a perfect example of a good hybrid athlete in his type of training. My thoughts are, you are more a “synergy” athlete. I know a phrase or term dosnt make much of a difference to you, but whats your thoughts on that? Is it a new term we can use for the likes of yourself? I train the same style, with strength and endurance combined. Ps. Your the man!
25% of Hunters volume is overtraining for 75% of people. Human body is capable to achieve greatness. Keep it up!
Content has been killing it.
Loving this content, keep it coming!

What’s the song on his speed workout!?
Great training and video. You need a Psyllium sponsorship
Wich Garmin do you use?
With the 5:20, 5:15, 5:15 pacing, are we talking minutes per mile or minutes per kilometre?
Per mile. 5.20 per km wouldn’t even be a speed session for an average park runner.
@@paulwhalley6789that’s what I thought. It’s just that the HYROX runs are metric so I got a bit confused
CrossFit, Roman Empire. Greg Glassman, Caeser. Champ, you're a genius.
Frozone
I’m torn on whether to like the video. You’re at 69 likes and I don’t want to ruin it 👍
