The song combined with the image hits really hard. You can feel that terrible feeling of the painful realization, that what you're doing is all for nothing. A never ending massacre... just like the point of the phrase.
Sisyphys was punished by zeus. He gave him a meaningless never ending task, yet Sisyphus outsmarted zeus once again by finding purpose and fullfillment in what in the eyes of a inmortal god is; torture. Just like him you can outsmart your own rock by putting in one foot after the other and pushing it as far as it can reach, because if one imagines Sisyphus happy, thats all it takes to defeat the universe itself :3
As someone who climbed all 3 towers in jump king i know your pain. But trust me when you reach the top of the tower you feel peace, true peace. If you haven't played it. I really recommend it.

The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.” ― Albert Camus
"we build our life on the hope for tomorrow, yet tomorrow brings us closer to death and is the ultimate enemy; people live their lives as if they were not aware of the certainty of death. True! You are literally in my exact same situation. It's the pointlessness that can either harm you or defend you. You can use it as a defense mechanism or a weapon against yourself. I am choosing the former. But this might loop back. Oh well, one must imagine Sisyphus happy.
I know I'm late, and nobody will probably see this, but for the people that do see this, just keep going. You dont need to set amazing goals or do mind blowing things, as long as You have something to do, and find even just a sliver of enjoyment in that thing, take that sliver, and just focus on it. No matter what it is, if You stay happy, it isnt as bad as it really seems. And for the people struggling out there, even if it seems like it endlessly gets worse, just find happiness in it, no matter how bad the work is, no matter how much there is to do, stay happy knowing that eventually, You'll be able to finish it, and be happy. As long as You stay happy, nothing is horrible, since You can find happiness in it. No matter how big or small the boulder is, just remember to stay happy while rolling it.
Stop bitching about how life is brutal and meaningless in comment section. It's all about you being wielder of your own being. A boulder may fall time to time. But you are the only one who can make a choice of whether you're going to move a boulder or not. At the and of daily punishment, you will witness sunset on the horizon, and feel the breeze tickles your sweat. Whether it's small or not, everyday you do something. You're the sole being who can make a judgement, appreciation, and opinion over your own experience. It's all fucking yours. Finding an absolute meaning of everything is obviously impossible. But at least you can feel something out of everything you do. Life awaits you no matter what, as long as you choose to see another day.
Sometimes you just want to get away from everything, go to the mountains, find the steepest and rocky. Find a boulder that is 2 times larger than you and roll it to this incredible melody
I had a relationship this summer with a girl that kept bringing me down, first I had to never talk to any of my friends again because she would've get jealous, then she made me buy her a lot of expensive things from my own life savings, then she insulted me a lot, then finally breaking up with me because "I'm not loyal" while she also cheated on me. This song fits perfectly. edit: my friends forgave me

I relisten to this song, like it is a eternity. Always pushing the rock to the top of the mountain (listen to full video) and in the end, feel the feeling of returning all it back. But also feeling that I listened to all of it, did all the way up to be able to see how beatiful things can be. Knowing I need to start again, is one of the feelings of life, to start again, put new goals.
this song is how it feels playing through a match of free-for-all in cod, repeating getting killed by campers. spawn, die, respawn, die, over and over until your body forces you to leave the match. despite leaving being what you wanted, you can't help but feel you've suffered a worse fate than defeat. surrender.
Sadly he can't, there was a curse set to the boulder so that when it reaches near the top, it rolls down. Despite this, Sisyphus still rolls the boulder instead of giving up and doing nothing. We imagine Sisyphus must be happy if he is still working hard on this job that he knows he can never achieve, instead of just sitting around for the rest of eternity.
alot of people have been making a meme about this but personally i think its terrifying, being forced to push a boulder up a rocky mountain over and over again for eternity, not being able to die or anything it’s horrible if you think about it
think deep into it though, if you’re given one direction one thing to do, only one thing for eternity, you may think it would be awful at first, but if it’s all you can do, you may find yourself doing it anyway. it seems like an awful fate but if pushing a boulder up a mountain is the only thing you’ve ever known for as long as you can remember, it seems fulfilling to make those small steps towards the top of the mountain, even though you may subconsciously know you’ll never get there. you celebrate the small victories and continue to push the boulder anyway because what else can you do? it is the same as life, we continue to live, knowing we will never reach our true meaning, but we are happy to live here and now.
Even the song name shows that struggle. "Me And The Birds", sounding like "Sisyphus and the Rock". Just him, the rock and that mountain. Things that we must imagine makes him happy.
This song represents quite a lot. All though this may sound like a joke (kinda is and is also cringy) it captures something. A feeling of despair but a glimmer of hope. Just maybe you might make it, “one must image sisyphus happy” could also mean a lot of things. Never ending work that never stops coming. The struggle of loosing all your progress. But you need to continue. One must imagine them happy. One must imagine the person happy. One must belive that they are happy. Although the struggle they face is really quite a lot.

They pretty consistently say something to the effect of "literally me". sure, it might feel that way, but atleast it wont be endless, thats one thing to look forward too, youll eventually get done with it, with help or not. 40 minutes in: i realize i may have come off as a smartass, i didnt mean it like that, just an observation (again dosent help thats my default state when im tired, which i am) 46 minutes in: thought i heard the music start to fade out, obviously didnt. i think im starting to lose it a bit lol 48 minutes in: with nothing else to occupy my time ive really been starting to drift off. i almost want to open another video to wake me up but that feels like cheating somehow. i guess ill do all the stuff i do before bed and drift off to it. if this is my last entry then you can guess what happened, but if not then you know that too.
I had a relationship that lasted 2 years, and i still think bout her sometimes. But what i keep getting back in my mind is all of those sentences that she told once, and one of them all that i remember now, is one that goes like "I dont like super buffed guys really, i just like when they have abs".Since then every time i have abs workout i think about that. But now that she is gone from my life, i only feel the feeling this song gives, just painful realization that no matter how hard i workout for those abs, i cant have her. And i just end up pushing my self, saying to my self "This isn't enough". And that applies every time i workout, pushing my self, cuz deep down ik im doing it cuz i dont wanna feel weak, but even tho i can get stronger, ik that in the end ill never have her, or anyone like her, and i wont get the happiness i got back in the day. With body dysmorphia, insecurities, being "too buffed", i know that everything that i do, is meaning less. thank to that im atleast getting closer to my main focus. "stop being weak" moral of the history, use the pain as the perfect energy. Stay Safe.
This sorrow of a broken heart will always haunt you, i know from experience. Always telling you like your not good enough, that you will never deserve love not matter what you do. I don't khow if it will help you, but if she was so picky about guys based on appearance, that means she was a shitty person and that you deserve someone better then her. However that nasty mark she left you will always be with you. Its important that you don't burry it, but take care of it. That part of you is hurt and if left unchecked will lead you to a path of self-destruction and rage. Tldr: some people will hurt you, to make themselves fell better, and the demons that spawn from there betrail are not your enemies to be silenced, but hurt souls that you need to assure that everything is going to ok Hope this helps 🥲🤝🥲
Remember that being strong doesn't mean not being weak. True strength of character is also to embrace your weaknesses as true parts of yourself, and work around them.

Wow. 1 million views. That's a million souls who decided to join in the fruitless, yet fulfilling tale of sisyphus. The absurdity of it all truly is enough to fulfill the masses hearts.
“Leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain. One always finds one's burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night-filled mountain, in itself, forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.”
This song made me realise how many times, I just did things for nothing. How many times I wasted my time, to be in the end displeased and unsatisfied.

Listening this song in loop is like pushing a circle shaped rock into a never ending mountain.

One must Imagine Sisyphus happy.
think deep into it though, if you’re given one direction one thing to do, only one thing for eternity, you may think it would be awful at first, but if it’s all you can do, you may find yourself doing it anyway. it seems like an awful fate but if pushing a boulder up a mountain is the only thing you’ve ever known for as long as you can remember, it seems fulfilling to make those small steps towards the top of the mountain, even though you may subconsciously know you’ll never get there. you celebrate the small victories and continue to push the boulder anyway because what else can you do? it is the same as life, we continue to live, knowing we will never reach our true meaning, but we are happy to live here and now.

This song represents quite a lot. All though this may sound like a joke (kinda is and is also cringy) it captures something. A feeling of despair but a glimmer of hope. But you need to continue. One must imagine them happy. One must imagine the person happy. One must belive that they are happy. Although the struggle they face is really quite a lot.

17 minutes in: almost fell asleep, its just so soothing (almost being 10 at night might help)
24 minutes in: i hate the chain and quotient rule
32 minutes in: almost done with the got dang chain rule, really fits well with the music
37 minutes in: scrolling through the comments, im starting to see a pattern here; everyone going through hardships, failing and trying again, over and over. They pretty consistently say something to the effect of "literally me". sure, it might feel that way, but atleast it wont be endless, thats one thing to look forward too, youll eventually get done with it, with help or not.
40 minutes in: i realize i may have come off as a smartass, i didnt mean it like that, just an observation (again dosent help thats my default state when im tired, which i am)
46 minutes in: thought i heard the music start to fade out, obviously didnt. i think im starting to lose it a bit lol

Best workout music. Its all about realizing the pointlessness of it all, and having as much fun as you can with the time you have.
One must imagine sisyphus happy.
"stop being weak"
moral of the history, use the pain as the perfect energy.
Stay Safe.
damn i feel sad for you man :(
This sorrow of a broken heart will always haunt you, i know from experience.
Tldr: some people will hurt you, to make themselves fell better, and the demons that spawn from there betrail are not your enemies to be silenced, but hurt souls that you need to assure that everything is going to ok
Hope this helps 🥲🤝🥲
Remember that being strong doesn't mean not being weak. True strength of character is also to embrace your weaknesses as true parts of yourself, and work around them.
