I hope you see this and can help. Windows show that my laptop’s battery is charging but it’s stuck at the same percentage and it goes off when I remove the charger. I already replaced the battery once and it worked fine but it has gone back to plug-n-play. I don’t know what else to do

Hey thanks for the awesome video, very helpful! The Battery on my MSI is bloating up extremely and im scared it might catch on fire, so I´ve got a question. Is it possible to simply remove the battery and use the laptop on power supply without anything else to do??? Tanks for your help guys :).
Yes, you should remove that battery ASAP! And yes, a laptop should be able to work with just the charger and no battery. However, on some 'heavy' operations like some heavy gaming, the computer may need the battery to work the best
I dont know what drugs the designers were on when they decided to bury the battery behind a shell. I have a 15 year old enterprise Dell Latitude and the battery simply snaps in no case opening needed. I have a gl 75 dragon and the battery wont hold a charge. Funny how something much newer and made for "gaming" is more archaic to work on than my Latitude. 🤣
Hello! Thank your for sharing this information and taking the time. I'm trying to replace my battery for the MSI GF63 Thin 11SC (MS-16R6). Do you have it available? Or know where I could get it? Thanks in advance!
@@PC_MonkeyI think it's because the installment of a new battery is not shown. Yes you plug it in, but the old battery is glued and, so what does that mean for the new battery? Do we just leave it loose? What about those pads on the battery? They're on the battery on both sides, but don't see any on the new battery
If the battery is damaged and getting hot then yes, it should definitely be removed. However, if the computer is overheating when you play games, its most likely not due to the battery. Are your vents clean and are your fans behaving normally?
@@PC_Monkey it's literally a brand new laptop and everything seems fine after I opened it and looked around, I am just looking for some tips and tricks to keep it last as long as possible, since I rarely gonna move the laptop I thought of removing the battery and keep it plugged directly, what are your thoughts please

My msi laptop which is same as yours turning on fine . But abruptly turns off without the shutdown window and wont start again till I hit the power button . I have removed the battery and tried using with the charger alone . Still the issue persists . Any idea what might be causing the issue.
I think my problem might be the same as yours, what did you end up doing? I'm about to remove the battery to see as well. I have to hit power again too and I look at the battery and it's charging from what I assume zero.
What do I do when the battery cable is stuck? I have tried removing it with a tool using that little plastic rectangle and I have used my fingers to gently try and ease it out. But the wires behind are already bent up against the battery. So I’m in this paradox of needing to remove the battery, or at least lift it up a little to ease the tension of the wires, in order to disconnect it.
@@PC_Monkey MSI GF65 Thin 10UE It was a good 3 hours before I wiggled it just far forward enough that I got the tiniest Phillips head screwdriver I owned and started pushing it out from the back of the little plastic rectangle instead of trying to pull it out. I was worried I was gonna do something bad but when I realised how the battery pins connect I was relieved the Phillips head damaged nothing.

Unfortunatley MSI now like to glue batteries to cancel our right to repair and encourage us to buy more dispoable MSI products. In the following RUclips video it shows how to remove the batterie (to access speaker) but it's risky : ruclips.net/video/dcbhVU6zBbY/видео.html
