@@BeaMinimalista I think my comment was badly written, I meant to say that 2 weeks ago (a month now) I started a 10months low buy (almost no buy) ~ so I have just started 🙈🙏😃 but it is going really well, so many changes already and next month I will have paid off both VISA and 3 other smaller debts, and after that I will start building my emergency fund and some sinking funds 🙌🙏🌹
🙋♀🙋♀ "building a quality life instead of buying one" love that❣ I am inspired by you. I am currently in my third month so far not too bad. I do struggle a little with boredom when I don't buy items. I'm going to make an effort to set aside time for hobbies and outdoor activities. so grateful for this video. It's like having an accountability friend for this challenge
Anything for your health is a NEED not a want, so the dehumidifier/humidifier is OK. As for the plant, it helps to clean the air which is good for your health, so to me I think that would also be OK. As far as drinking with your friends, that's easy, before you go decide how many drinks you want to drink and buy your own, don't get into the 'ROUNDS' and don't let anyone buy you a drink., that way you won't have to buy everybody else's drink
I definitely need to put some boundaries on the drinks. But I feel this is only a "problem" during summer. Winter I don't really feel like drinking. As for the plants, that's a great point actually. But I might have a few plants already around the house, so at this point, it's really just want. Thank you for the lovely insight ☺️
I stayed in a Portuguese village in winter many years ago. The houses were stone and hundreds of years old. People had farm animals under their houses and cooked in black cauldrons in the fireplace. I have never been so cold in my life. The trees were covered in ice, it was pretty though.
Two things have helped me - examining "necessary" for each individual item if I think I need to add/replace something - and remembering that whatever I think I need will be available next month/month/year. Also my consistent life experience that unless I spend a lot of time examining a prospective purchase (including examining what will I do if I don't have it) 90% of the time the purchase will be a mistake.
That's very true. This is a good example of Not Buying being not as straightforward as just not doing an action. It may require planning and some consideration to not do something. But experience will make it much easier over time. Loved this insight. Thank you 😊
Inspirational, structured, and calming. Thanks for your effort. Also I can't get over how beautiful you are. Love you and your doggy. Greetings from Munich! ✌😊❤
Thank you for sharing your experiences. I am new to minimalism and still in the state of getting rid of things I don't need or like (anymore). I am considering trying a no buy month now.
@@dianaw4125 It can be, I know eheh. My advice would be to not force your ideas on someone else, let them observe and see the results. If they see value, they will want to do the same. I know it is a long process but it's worth it :)
Quem me dera. Eu sou uma friorenta no inverno e uma calorenta com tudo o que for a cima de 30 graus. Preciso de viver num sítio em que estejam 22-26° para sempre 🤭😇
Comment with a 🙋♀️ if you're also doing a No/Low Buy Year.
What have been your main struggles so far?
Started a low buy 10 months 2 weeks ago 🙏🙌
@@Walking_w_Jesus Nice! Love that you didn't start in January 💪 You got this! Almost done.

The struggle is real here. Most housing constructions are old. Even in big cities. It's a bit scary how this is a reality in 2024 🤷♀️
