Interestingly, Jeddah was the city I most liked, the streets are full of young people and people enjoying the time. If I could choose one of these cities to return to I would choose Jeddah.

Jeddah is my Heart, what I'm today is b.cos of Jeddah where I spent 21 years of my youthful life. Very very Clean, Well Planned, Historic, Red Sea City, Jeddah is Easy & Free City compared to Other cities of KSA. I cannot forget Jeddah in my life.
You forgot to check Prince Majed Park, Gold Market at Mahmood Saeed, King Abdullah Sports Stadium, Fakieh Aquarium etc (I am a Hyderabadi and Resident of Jeddah btw)
In Saudi don't miss out its local food.I think Arab has definitely one of best cuisine.Try local Albaik and if you are biriyani lover,than must try kabsa.

I lived in Jeddah from 1980-1990. I didn't realize that it was the worst decision my parents ever made to leave. I had just turned 11 when i left and to this day i'm still hurting. My life was never the same after we left Jeddah. Jeddah was a modern city, and from what i see it's gotten way more modern since 1990.I do remember the corniche, i don't really remember much of the buildings except the iconic desalination plant, ( cos i lived very close to it) and the bank of commerce downtown. We did go to the souk, and the fish market quite often i remember. I hope one day to return to Jeddah to heal my wounds:) even for a short stay as a tourist.
