Hi and thanks for watching. Lol. Yes, that's a good question. Truth be told, the bass I'm playing was made of spare parts... Mostly Alembic, except the neck. The neck was originally routed for 6 strings, but I only have 5. Thus, the extra tuning peg hole. More oddly maybe, the nut and bridge have a bit narrower string spacing than usual, which I find more comfortable. So, you really have me on how 6 strings could have ever possibly worked with this neck- even with 5 the spacing is pretty tight! I hope you enjoy my other videos as well. Cheers!
