His knives are light and balanced. Not like the old Traditional ones the heavy ones my dad them used. We use cavilar and wick when he has to dance on a small stage but he likes the boards so its lighter. Then he can do more moves
He likes to collect Fireknife from the few Fireknife makers. And he uses different knives for different purposes. Some for Practice and they are all made from different people so they have different weights and balances. He rotates his knives according to how he feels. He also dances with 3 and 4 knives in his routine.

I e been searching all over Lowes and Home Depot for canek boards
Shucks I know us too.They are slowly doing away with that type boards because the construction companies hardly build with that.
