One, yes Dog’s up strong is absurd. Two, I recently tried out Powdered Toast man, imo it’s not that he’s bad I think he’s very hard to master compared to the cast.

What if Smash Bros. but _everyone_ has Kazuya's 0-to-death potential without his high execution? No really, I do think this whole game will be a Kazuya (or even Luigi to an extent) situation where the "Die off literally any hit at any percent" will be super cool for a while, but that will be SO common that even the once epic stuff will just be typical gameplay, so everything just becomes kinda meh.

What's with all the hate? A lot of jank will get patched, and I personally find it a breath of fresh air to see a new fighting game release with all kinds of crazy shit. One of reasons I dislike Ultimate is because its combo game is so linear; there's no reason for half the cast to try cool new things when the only guaranteed combo Wario gets from a throw is Up-Throw Up-Air, for example. It can get pretty boring. This game is super hype so far!!

The game feels so deliberately blanched and the buffer system is too frustrating for me. The tradeoff for a faster engine was not worth it, although I do enjoy alot of the newer characters, the limitation is even palpable when just spectating. I'm just indifferent to ultimate at this point. Hope this game can hold it's own for a bit as the dev team makes gradual improvements via updates. If they make good on that, maybe the reception will warm up a bit.
Got this game yesterday and i must say this game is great and has great potential. I see plenty of people already shitting on this game and i think its dumb. People go into this game expecting smash ultimate but its a whole different game and this is just the beginning and i see awesome things for this game in the future.
