You are all wrong. It is not about rationality, race, or people's ignorance or even the economy. It is about change. American system is like an old mobile phone before smart phones came about. Every system starts with a clear straightforward design, but complexity starts increasing until it becomes so complex that its benefits start to become irrelevant. In the case of politics and social systems this results in people becoming detached because it is too complex and full of contradictions. In a way governments and opposition are like criminal gangs and as some Cosa Nostra members used to say: sometime a war is necessary to wash out the bad blood. Brexit, Trumps election and now his return are signs of that. People's detachment from Alistair's discourse is the inevitable result. From people's point of view, they just feel the pressure of the system an₫ they just want change. This is why revolutions come about, as a manifestation of people exacerbation that has transcended logic and discussions. After a while whatever the establishment says sounds the same and people switch it off and the disconnect becomes automatic. They might not be racist, or support dictatorship or even poor and yet each of those characteristics give birth to a simplistic solution for their own biases but what brings them together is the stress and exacerbation that each group feels and stressed. Elon Musk is fed-up with regulations, the racists keep seeing more people of different colors to themselves, and the poor see themselves getting poorer compared to 'others'. Human beings' perceptions are based on subjective choices and their cognition is limited. They see what they want to see. Anyone who becomes an alternative enables people to see their own alternative in them. Had Democrats been able or prepared to think out of the box and do something that affects everyone they would have been able to re-engage people into the process. But off course that was impossible because of being part of the established order. It was clear that Harris was not willing or unable to differentiate herself from Biden and that was perceived as failure, lost her, her novelty. She suddenly became nothing but the puppet of the "establishment" and symbol of no change. The worst slogan was to return to normal. People don't want to return to normal. Thay have had enough of "the normal". It is like giving a kid the same Christmas present every year without regards to the kid's development. Political pundit should really pay attention to the changes in the language and take their etymology seriously. The changes in the language are indicative of what is changing in society.
This is one of the reasons the centre-left keeps losing to populist nationalists. Because they can't distinguish ethno-nationalism from civic nationalism. Now, I'm no fan of Trump's aggresive nationalist rhetoric. But he is not an ethno-nationalist. His arguments are never along the lines of race. They're about legal vs illegal immigrants, foreign criminals, or people who refuse to integrate with US culture.
I've just exercised my civic duty and cast my vote! Now, I'm turning my attention to my financial future. As an avid investor, I'm intrigued by the strategies of top investors. With $545K from my recent home sale, I'm weighing my options: invest in stocks now or wait for a more favorable market?

Farage is at Trumps celebration party right now. Farage will have the full support of the US in the next UK election. Trumpism is heading our way.
If the people are willing to fight it, that wouldn't be true. But alas, I don't think the population does
This was good - the Dems need to get back to working class basics and away from minority politics.
And the Republicans who will have the exec, house, senate and SC will have to prove they can deliver.
Either way - we can move past all of this in 4 years.
Really great video about your evolution socially, and politically, remarkably positive. You should write a book. ps; feel I've come to some of same conclusions after listening to many of the same people
Please uk just don't copy America
We did the first time arouns
For a moment I thought he was talking about Brexit rather than the next trump presidency.
Dominic is absolutely amazing. However, what will happen in the USA.
Cheer up chaps😂
‘Ethnic Cleansing’. I gave up after that. Considering Trump got one of the most diverse voting results of any election. You just don’t get it.
He promised you he would deport millions! Promises made, promises kept remember
The smugness you all had in the beginning episode, talking like the election night was a formality for Kamala.
I've just exercised my civic duty and cast my vote! Now, I'm turning my attention to my financial future. As an avid investor, I'm intrigued by the strategies of top investors. With $545K from my recent home sale, I'm weighing my options: invest in stocks now or wait for a more favorable market?
For any investor, a strong plan is essential to their portfolio. The higher the risk, the bigger the possible return when it comes to making important decisions, thus it makes sense to consult with seasoned experts
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k
S&P all the way
Wow, that's interesting. I've recently been exploring the option of working with an FA too. Any chance you could recommend who you work with?
Tracy Britt Cool Consulting a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
Bye America 😂😂
The cope here is funny
All in Nietzsche
These guys don't know a thing about their own country and area of expertise and now they are criticizing modi, India have much bigger issues under modi, they way west perceived it is not it, they are not what they imagine as china style concentration camp, they live and goons like bajrang dal try to intimate them, but we have robust judiciary and public institutions to to correct such biases
give up on the identity politics and maybe the dems will get more votes
Mooch and Campbell clearly cannot stand each other!!!
Alistair is openly very fond of Mooch - he’s the one that got Mooch on TRIPUS. Mooch is hurting today, and to me seems a little less able to take a ribbing right now as a result. But they get on very well.
It’s no joke. This podcast how ever was a joke. As are Scarmuci and Marina Hyde. An embarrassment from beginning to end.
This is so fantastic to see these 2 guys squirm, jumping to banal words such as fascism, ignorance, bigotry with sensationalist accusations and hysteria. Absolutely zero curiosity, humility or an attempt to understand people who have different concerns to them. Makes my day every time these ego maniacs get egg on their faces.
Yeah, I would like you guys to talk about I know this is over the foreign policy part of this. I guess what I mean is with regards to the young people voting on foreign policy only such as the war in the Middle East or the money being spent on trying to help Ukraine..
After everyone gets bored of blaming Trump, maybe the Democratic party will finaly take a look at themselves and admit what a bad job they've done over the last 8 years. Harris would clearly have been better than Trump, but she's a poor and uninspiring candidate no matter how everyuone is trying to spin it.
She would have to have been a phenomenal candidate to swim against the foul mood of anti incumbent sentiment. She was just normal and safe. Not enough clearly.
💔
david lammy better get on his knees and apologise to the Don! Has Rory lost his £100,000 bet on Kamala?
Why, Trump was never hoo going to be a friend to the UK the special relationship was always one way.
Should be sacked for calling Trump Hitter
Lammy had absolutely better not. Good people need to stand their ground and hold fast to their morals now more than ever.
@@Mrp-y2qthat's an insult to hitler
I like anythony but his political reporting was obviously biased towards Harris. It was disingenuous and i don’t respect that. Hope to hear a different tune from you
He is not a reporter but an analyst. He made no bones about his anti- Trumpism. He was there to give insight in to the American political scene.
The 2nd amendment will do the speaking now! 🇺🇲
Please keep this rhetoric so it will be Vance 2028 for sure
The people have spoken. Don’t tell them they’re wrong. The trump team is strong.
So pathetic. Your candidate did not win, so now democracy is ending. How is that different than what trump said in 2020?
Because the guy who incited a mob to try to overturn the result in 2020 is now back in power, but surrounded by sycophants instead of adults.
Because the MAGA crowd have literally said they want to dismantle democracy in America
You don't believe in the west. You like poo tin and winnie the pooh.
So pathetic? The hypocrisy of this is STAGGERING.
I'm traditionally more aligned with Democrats on social policy, in some respects I have some left-ish economic views in some respects more centre/ right leaning.
I have big concerns for the next few years but I don't want to be so polarised, and I want to get to understand more about others' views. From your perspective if you were to look four years into the future, what are you hoping Trump will get done in office?
Justice has been served please cry harder your salty tears taste nice.
you think you are the democrats?
This is some of the worst commentary around.
Trump24❤💯
How is it ethnic cleansing? That's a ridiculous take.

Incredible News. So relieved to have common sense coming back to the whitehouse ❤
Common sense, heavens he is a rapist, a felon, and a sociopath. You are delusional....People died in the uprising you evil woman.

This is such a pathetic podcast lol
Idiot
We have seen 4 years of trump. Sorry Rory. We have also seen 4 years of biden Harris. Please respect the democratic process
Another low resolution partisan analysis… clueless
You would have benefited from having one genuinely right wing person on this panel. Some of the perceptions you all have are way, way off.
Right wing didn't use to be pro election denial and pro insurrection sadly
You guys are in meltdown
As anyone with a remote amount of critical thinking skills should be.
Dont worry....you'll get there too.
If you can't see why then that's on you.
