  • I've had multiple comments asking questions about Paraguay itself or different aspects of life here so far. If there is even one person asking, I'm sure there are multiple others who might be curious about the same things. So, lets answer the following questions. Also, please like, subscribe and share with anyone you think might like or benefit from this video. Thank you!!
    Questions
Why did we choose this specific region?
What did it cost us to have our children's Paraguayan cedula processed?
Do you know a good lawyer you can recommend for a property purchase? What is the property tax like, if there is any.
Are there English speaking folks in your area?
What are some of the biggest challenges we have faced throughout our journey so far?

    Hello Frieda, how are you?
It is new for me to hear your experience, because here in South America Canada is highlighted as the best possible destination, in every sense. That is to say, so many wanting to go north and you come south... what a thing, right?
I hope you can prosper in this land and that more immigrants come, we need them.
    Greetings from Itauguá, Central.

@@arnaldosalinas4774 Hi, I’m good thank you. Yourself? It is an interesting thing for sure. The way I see it, most people moving north don’t get the gravity of what is happening there. They have their sights set on a more convenient and comfortable lifestyle where they can collect child benefits since a lot of Mennonites have Canadian citizenship rights. At the same time gotta keep in mind we are not all meant to live in one place which is a good thing.

Hola Arnaldo.
      Saludos.

The way I see it is as follows: Canada's taxes are just too high, and freedom there is not what it used to be anymore. In the end, people look for individual freedom and low taxes,

@@dagestan7863 yes I speak all 3 of those languages. I need to work on my high German more but pretty much fluent enough for a day-to-day conversation.
