Sandman feels really strong at 7 power, I snagged an infinity ticket playing him along with Doom, Leader and the super secret tech card, post-nerf Alioth. It's obviously not as strong as it was before, but it gives outs to some of Sandman's biggest weaknesses such as Hela and Tribunal, and sometimes it's just enough power to flip a lane. I also think that Cull Obsidian feels really good with Nightcrawler and Baron Zemo, who very often pulls a 1-cost from the opponent's deck. Very fun deck!
Shout out to Alex for making these decks. I just finished up my first infinity conquest march to victory using the first iteration he previewed, the one without Leader. Sandman really punishes a lot of decks right now so snuck in.
I am no deck builder and I’m pretty dumb at creating them, but after the patch I rly wanted to play sandman so I build a deck really similar to urs and after testing it I know it was capable of becoming a potential meta contender. I really appreciate the fact that someone put this deck on the spotlight and u also improved my build that still includes cards like mr fantastic. The only change I would make to ur build is adding cap cause I think she really helps u putting pressure on the opponent
I'm not exactly high infinite, around 20k, but I climbed around 10k the last week using a version of the Sandy Power deck. Replacing Jeff, Zemo, Aero and Red Hulk with Jessica Jones, Mr Fantastic, Alioth and the real MVP of the deck, Leader. He is a soul crusher against most decks if you build enough of a lead into your Sandman, also just caused some hilarious pop-offs like using my opps' own Shang-Chi to destroy their Knull.
I usually stop once I hit infinite focus on conquest think u fell to like 30k in infinite last I looked. This deck got me an infinity ticket seeing alot of hazmat/surfer and tribunal decks there

The issue I always find with sandman decks, the ramp in particular, is that there is little counter play. And if you don't draw sandman you have little to answer for most decks.
They should change crossbones text to "Can not play at a location your loosing" or give him more power than Cull since his text is way easier to work around but I'm still just happy they buffed crossbones in some way lol

The two games you showed w/ the ramp deck didn't play Sandman at all. I played a Sandman/Corvus/Hela deck almost to infinite this month pre-patch, but I'm having trouble seeing how Sandman is better in that deck now. He seems way worse now that you can't play him on 4 and still impact turn 6.
After the sandman nerf he feels like a way better curve card 8n the sense that he has more power now so he feels better to play. But sandman is worse in electro now
I have sandman in my leader ramp deck, which made me rocket up ladder 85 to 100. PS ladder sucks after reaching 100 all you play against are Agatha decks.
Red hulk has to be nerfed lol and that’s from someone who got him on the first key pull the other week , he could be a 6-10 +3 power and still be as strong as evo hulk
I agree. It’s a brain dead card that’s made other strong decks even stronger. It’s so broken that you can put it into any deck and it will perform better. I’m not loving the direction this games going. Players should be encouraged to craft unique decks and play cards that require them to actually think about their plays, not just slam brain dead cards and abuse broken combos like Hela.

Man, I really hate how everyone said to skip Gladiator during his spotlight week and now he's used in a lot of decks..
I think it’s mainly because Maximus used to be a good alternative, but then he got changed, plus, Gladiator got buffed
