I'm starting a new novel for NaNoWriMo, I recently published a novella, which is my first actually published work since my debut novel in 2019 and I'm excited to start my new novel for NaNoWriMo. I have to be honest, it's kind of scaring me to start a new BIG project and I'm so glad I wrote my novella in between these two big novels (my debut and the one I'm starting) so I wasn't over-working myself. Anyway, congrats on your first novel! Writing is such a fun thing to do and I am as passionate about it as you, good luck this NaNoWriMo! I'll be cheering you on! Maybe you could do a NaNoWriMo writing sprints live? I join as many of those as I can during NaNo and it be lots of fun if you did one too! How do you manage to finish a book as a disabled writer? I'm also disabled, I have bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism traits, anxiety and a not fully recovered eating disorder (as well as a few physical things), and I don't have the energy to both live AND write. I live on my own with my cat, meaning that things like feeding my cat, doing the dishes, laundry, litter box etc. are duties I can't get away from. If I don't do it, no one will. And I have VERY limited energy. Working isn't even thinkable, instead I use up all my energy taking care of myself (food, shower etc), my cat and my house. And all the fun things, I'm too tired or too depressed to do. How do you write, indulge yourself in a completely fictive and complicated world, when you have so much anxiety you can't even sit still? Or is so depressed it feels pointless to even be alive? When you feel so hopeless because you fail everything you try to do because of your illnesses. How do you have energy to enter a writing session when you're too tired to get up from the sofa? I don't know how to handle my health and my writing, and the feeling of failure often leads to suicidal thoughts, making it even harder to write... I used to love it, now I hate even thinking about it, because I feel like all my great potential is spoiled on nothing and I'm just a big waste of space in life.

Hello Zara! I won’t share my real name but I’m Lucile! (It’s nowhere near my real name) I have ADHD,OCD and Asthma and I’m currently working on two books, one of them I ran out of ideas for the chapters so I decided to work on another one which talking about two people with disabilities, one female and one male, the male has Autism and PTSD, the female has Asthma,ADHD, Severe PTSD, she’s also half blind. The male is gay and is dating a male with Tourette’s syndrome. The female and male protagonists got PTSD from their abusive uncle and neglective parents who fight 24/7 and the female became half blind because when they were 8 their uncle was drunk and threw a glass bottle making her half blind, the male was 10 and is pretty strong, so they had to use their self defense and after they fought their uncle they ran to their rooms, the rooms are connected. Oh and they’re humans with goat horns and ears, expect the boyfriend, he’s human. they have crow wings and a long thin tail with fluff at the end. They were in class and fell asleep, they were teleported to a place far away from their house, they (the male and female protagonists) woke up and were introduced to a woman who was 16. (At that time the female was 18 and her brother was 20.) and yeah, later on in the story the male’s boyfriend was introduced, and yeah! I’m a quick typer but I’m so far from my book ending. Oh- also just know that the female protagonist is based on my like- persona’s backstory, male protagonist is named Maiden. The male’s boyfriend is named Kade. ANOTHER FACT IS THAT BOTH THE MALE AND FEMALE HAVE ALL THE POWERS POSSIBLE.
How could people hate on her!!?? She is literally a queen!! I look forward to all your videos every sunday and being a young writer you give me so much inspo on everything! I LOVE YOU

Writing is super fun, i’m writing my own story and i’m going to try and publish it but I don’t know howe to lol. I keep remaking the story so it makes sense which is why it’s taking long, I started it somewhere last year. I even made the cover for it :D
Having tourettes doesn't mean you tic all the time, she probably had a better day where she tics less, but in the video she has ticced (hope that's spelt right) at certain times!

Henlo Zara I have a question about your FND. I’m diagnosed as well. I have noticed that when I exert myself in any activity. Not only does it affect my walking, but it give me this thick brain fog almost. It almost feels like what I imagine dementia to feel like or if I just got a lobotomy. Does this happen to you as well, or something similar along those lines?
