This isn't new. A lot of recorded versions are synthesized and 'made perfect'. Reality is emotion plays way better live, and each performance is unique. Cherish the live performances.
And she's not belting it, or screaming, or dumping it out there. She sounds so soft, so flowy, she caressing each note gently, smoothly. That's one hell of a vocal performance.

As someone who have experienced singing with a live band, you can tell why Wendy is really in the zone. I swear there's just something about performing with a band and hearing all the instruments live that makes you lose yourself to the music. And it clearly shows in how much Wendy enjoyed performing in her two videos. I just hope SM lets her sing more with a live band cause it really brings out the best in her and her voice 💙🥺

Live band are really good. Like what IZ*ONE done with ONEIRIC. Though it was for dancing, title tracks performed by live band sound so good. It's so catchy.

I tried singing the high note in Like Water during shower but I slipped and almost hit my head against the bathroom wall lol. Have no idea how Wendy hits the note perfectly and effortlessly everytime. She's the best Kpop singer and artist of this generation, fight me if you dare to disagree.

As someone who have experienced singing with a live band, you can tell why Wendy is really in the zone. I swear there's just something about performing with a band and hearing all the instruments live that makes you lose yourself to the music. And it clearly shows in how much Wendy enjoyed performing in her two videos. I just hope SM lets her sing more with a live band cause it really brings out the best in her and her voice 💙🥺
