I love alien stuff but really love end-of-humanity stuff too. Have you guys read Project Hail Mary? That book surprised me. I thought it was going to be stupid at first but it ended up being pretty unique and interesting. At least, I my limited literary knowledge. I don't consider myself very well-read.
