Hi Jonathan, Glad you found a solution to the improperly installed bulkhead and servo mount. Hope this isn't a glimpse of things to come. You and Katie stay safe.
This was a fantastic video. We just lost a F15 at our club field due to a elevator stab braking off during flight. Perhaps taking your approach to how serious the mounting is could have prevented it. Keep doing what you do Jonathan.
Great question Frank! Unfortunately not. Think about it this way. The actuating arm is based on a circle and the shaft that mates with the elevator follows the arc of the circle. For that arc to work the servo output shaft has to be in the middle of the circle (or very close). In this case it was enough to not be close to the middle of the circle.
Can someone tell me, in the real F15 does a pilot gain access from a elevator lift into the cockpit, because i hav seen this in RUclips video, so does pilot exit the same way but in reverse, i really think this is a really cool way to go into this jet, but also i want to know why did makers of the F15 need this way to get into the plane,
Thanks for watching! It's basically the problem solving episode! www.thelightersideofrc.com/shop

Thanks Don! Fingers crossed this is it!
Cannot believe you have to do this on a plane of this big. Still great fix. Still cannot believe the size of the plane. 👍🏻
Yea it's disappointing but just getting it done and moving forward. Thanks for watching! Nose should be getting bolted on soon!
@@thelightersideofrc still great watching you fix her 👍🏻

Hello, just to let you know I watch your channel with great interest, hopefully going to have my first jet next year if all goes to plan xx
Thanks for watching and supporting the channel! 😎
Awesome job as usual.
Thank you! Cheers!
As a relative newcomer to the hobby it would be great if you could show what bit that you use to "Dremel" out the material. Great videos!
Will do! Great Suggestion!
Great job Jonathon.
Thanks Paul!!!!
You can use a solder gun with fine tip. Epoxy does not like extreme heat, has worked great for me
Thanks Kelly! That's a great suggestion! I have never thought of that!😎
well done jon . ruben. bien hecho amigo!

Hey 👋
😎🙌
this is some of the issues the feibao kits have other people that had same issues mate
Glad we aren't the only one but then not glad as this area should get more attention from Feibao.
Seriously, for that price this should be Plug and Play kit not Glue and Pray :(
HAHA! Agreed but making it work!
