Just curious. I’m looking to either buy a kamado joe or a pellet grill. Which one would you recommend. Also can you do this recopie with a pellet grill
well in 2020 Kamado Joe is releasing a pellet grill of their own haha I prefer the kamado joe but I also don't have a high end pellet grill. I'm sure the high ends ones can be just as good. My kamado joe is far far better than my cheaper pellet grill.
That came out medium as opposed to medium rare. If you had smoked at 275-300, it would have came out with a proper crust at 128F internal, you could have let it rest for 30-60 minutes and been good to go without having to throw it down again at such a high temp.
Yep, a 10 for me. I'm doing this for Christmas. Thanks
Let me know how it goes! I want to do this again for christmas as well but idk if I can justify the cost again. It was SO good.
Should use the MEATER for the sear. Can damage at 500 degrees.
Nice job. I will have to do one myself soon
Great cook! Might have to get that iKamand
I just reviewed the fireboard 2 a few weeks ago and like it a lot more than the iKamand. Definitely check out the FireBoard 2 before going iKamand.
OMG she''s leaving you?? Oh what the hell at least you got the Kamado joe
Since you cooked the rib on the grill, how would you make the "au jus"?
Well you can’t! Can make a “separate sauce” but residue from meat to use. That said check out
“Sauce Bernaise”…. It’s my sauce of choice’
