I've used this technique before with 3 different rescue dogs and turning my back and ignoring them eventually worked. It's harder when you have two dogs but possible. I am now starting this technique with a new hyper adolescent rescue and an older rescue. Because it has been a few years for me this was a helpful refresher.
Iv got a 9 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and he's very excitable and giddy and always jumping up at everyone he sees, it gets very stressful trying to walk him. Any advice welcome
I have two puppies that are about a year old now. One is a boy and the other is a girl. They’ve both been fixed last year. Anyway, the girl, her name is Blue, she jumps on me the second I come out of my room. And she continues to jump on me nonstop. She’s starting to get really big now. How do I get her to stop jumping on me? She’s as big as a Labrador. She won’t listen to anything we say.
If everyone but 1 person in the family likes the jumping up, and don't want to ignore this behaviour but rather encourage it. When the 1 person who doesn't like this behaviour ignores the dog until there is no jumping, can the dog learn to not jump on only that person???
What do you do if 2 members of your household are small children? My 3 year old is not likely to turn away when our dog jumps up at bed, instead she giggles and pets him like crazy!
While this is a good trick the some dogs may think it is now a "stop jumping then reword" so they think if they jump and get down they get a reword this method is good for some dogs but there are better methods out there.

Wasn't covid enough
Finally Finally something simple
The advice given in these videos is brilliant - I can’t have a dog at the moment but when I do, I will be following them
Excellent, succinct clip, thanks
Thankyou so much

Problem really getting other people to turn back
They normally jump down
what to do when lying in bed?
If you turn your back on them , they jump on their back and scratch them
