@@athmaid basically stride length can come from two factors, length of the legs, or the power generated from the legs. So a shorter person could have same stride length as a taller person, but it’s because they are generating more power during their push off. Plus the rate at which the feet would have to move would be way too high, and nonhuman.

No Christina helicopters don’t fly closer to the ground to fly “faster” 🤣🤣. In fact the higher you, the thinner the air, the faster you go :D. Although, that mainly just applies for jets or planes since choppers can’t even climb that high. The chopper flying low is just to avoid radar and enemy MANPADs
There are fewer unpredictable air currents lower to the ground, and some aircraft are designed to fly more efficiently at low altitudes. However air currents can be unpredictable near mountains/hills. So this mostly applies to open ground or the center of a valley and not near hillsides.
