Something you might want to consider for clean bike. I use a spray bottle filled with windshield washer fluid and a microfiber cloth. The washer fluid doesn't freeze (maybe does in Alaska). So I spray a little bit to loosen the grit and wipe with cloth, but the reason I do that is because where I live they DO put that crap on the roads and I want it off the bike (as I don't know long term affect on the bike).
Yeah, in some parts of the world the stuff they put on the roads is super corrosive. Fortunately, most of the hardware on these bikes is stainless. I've only found a touch of corrosion on the inner rear shock washers. Never would have thought to use Windex. Thanks for the tip. Cheers!
Cheers! Picked up a four inch nail yesterday. Nothing coulda stopped that thing. I'm gonna destroy that nail on camera in my next video. LOL. I'll be getting another Wallke here soon. The 2023 X3. I'll get my Armour on there first thing. I get my Tannus products from Cafferty's Cyclery in Nampa Idaho. Very cool folks.🚲🚲🚲
@@TheE-LightenedArtist another Wallke??! Those things are sick. Love the full suspension/folding aspect. Sorry to hear about the nail. Caffery's Cyclery are good dudes. Thanks for the support and shout outs! Cheers
As long as it works for you, we're always salted in se wisconsin. So not a good idea. Get out your magnifying glass and read the black warning label on both batteries. So after the first rain in April to clear the salt we ride
@@JeffsAutoBelgiumWis Fortunately no salt here. Almost 700 miles through Winter (our Winters are probably nothing compared to yours in Wisconsin) and no issues except vibration damage to my rear battery from jumping hips. Wallke hooked me up with a new part and am filming a repair and precaution video.
@@TheE-LightenedArtist that’s great to hear! I’m planning on purchasing a Wallke H6 and rear trailer, throw some studs on in the winter I should be good to go 🙏🏼
Do you wrap your battery to keep it warm. It's my first year commuting on my bike. It dipped into the low thirties a couple days and hurt my range some. Wondering if a mylar heat wrap would help
Hi. I had considered something like that when winter hit but The bike seemed to handle it fine, so I never bothered. I'm curious tho. If you try it let me know how it does and I'll mention it in my 1000 mile review coming up.
Good thing our clients are good tippers… The guy that goes around marking tires made the mistake of marking some Harleys out front one day. He runs fast!
I was worried about that at first. On this bike it is tucked into the frame. Made it all winter with no issues. My commute is only 25 mins each way. In a much colder climate, with an exposed controller it might be an issue.

Nice set up! Love to see those wheels turning all season long. Cheers

Heated vest, heated thermals, heated foot liners, heated socks, etc it’s possible to be out all winter long! 😂🤙
Yeah totally! I was a little concerned about the long term affect on the batteries but they still perform like they’re brand new.

Did mode 5 test to check speed and received a throttle only 37 mph , so add pedaling should hit 40. Yes bad girl goes

Lucky that ur roads are filled with sand instead of salt. Here in Montreal that salt shit eats away at our bikes
big time.
Lmao! How many tickets this week. Five. How many days did he work. Five. I guess he just factors that cost into his weekly expenses 🤣

Can the freezing cold damage the controller?

Its 28` here now but by the time I head to work it’ll be in the 30s so not crazy cold.
