Can you please organise a cupping session on RUclips where interested coffee enthusiasts can first purchase coffee from your website and then we all can taste together on a live RUclips session. This will give us a better understanding of how to perceive different tastes and textures in coffee. A similar thing was done by James Hoffman. This would be pretty interesting and help amateurs like me better dive deep into the intricate world of coffee tasting
One of the best videos out there on training the palate. A lot of videos dive right into the five parameters but you guys start with the real basics. Bravo!
You asked about interest in coffee vocabulary. I think tasting vocabulary would be useful. For example, discuss vocabulary relating to each of the 5 main flavor categories (acidity, sweetness, body, etc). In this video, you gave examples of vocab used to discuss body - does the coffee feel thin, tea like, heavy, mouth coating... Just these descriptions help!
As always - HIGH quality content!! Uber useful and yes, I’d love to see that video on coffee ‘lingo’. Now I’ll go back, rewatch this one, and take some notes. Thank you guys!!
Thank you so much for the break down! I especially appreciate you sharing the dilution ratios for the fundimentals, looking forward to testing it out (if I can find everything haha)!
Just a comment for the algorithm to support this amazing channel for which -btw- I cannot wait to see its following (viewer+subscriber count) catch up with the levels this quality deserves!
Awesome! I've been looking for something that would help me learn to taste coffee better. Thanks for this, and yes, please do create more content like this.
Indias largest coffee tasting? Now ik that's like borrowing James's idea but James had all the international coffee and needing distilled water was a hassle too. I would love a coffee tasting which has different coffee samples from the roasters of the aramse subscription service would be so cool!
I love the quality of the content on this channel! I've been trying to elevate my coffee game, but it's been hard trying to describe craft roasts and where my preferences lie. Definitely need to be more thoughtful and train my palette. Definitely would be interested in a video on the vocabulary we tend to find in this world!
yes i need to understand what these other coffee tasting terms actually mean. 'lingering' and 'round' and 'short' and i-dont-even-know.. lol all those other terms besides the flavor terms
I dont want to taste fruity orange, berry blah blah blah...I want the coffee to taste like FRESH coffee and hit those god-shots...but todays roasts or beans are NOT giving that. And I keep coming across people experiencing and saying the same thing. I may like those notes in other foods or drinks, but NOT in my espresso. I just want that chocolatey viscus and wonderful taste that makes you want to lick the cup. Thats it! I guess in 2024 that has become impossible? Great guide for someone who doesnt pay attention to their consumption.

I second that!!
Fan from Singapore here, I'd love to do this!
Yes I'm in! Instead of focusing on the biggest tasting (like James Hoffmans), focus more on specific training for beginners
That would be super cool for sure!
Fantastic video!! Yes a vocabulary breakdown video would be awesome. Great idea.
More, more, more!!! Great vid, thorough and very well presented
one of the best coffee vlog, and cater to non professionals which can really help level up your coffee experience
I have been drinking craft coffee for years and kind of hit a wall when it came to describing what I enjoy. This is SO helpful. Thank you!!!
Thanks for this beginner lesson video 👍👍👍
Helpful video. A big yes to the vocab video.
Practical! I’d be cool with a breakdown of the most common vocabulary too

I would love to buy one of the cups. They look very nice. Please let us know, when international shipping will be available
After hearing you anout the mouth open for smelling better i did a quick test and realized ive been smelling wrong MY ENTIRE LIFE
Great information. Maybe you could slow down a little so the hearer might be able to digest the amount of information you're giving.

My only fear is that training my palate is just gonna make me more disappointed in my future coffee experiences 😑
Pure caffeine is very difficult to find and illegal in some places. Are there any alternatives to the bitter flavor testing?
Where you able to find an alternative?
