Unlike other people I always knew that it was sung by Akon. At the time of this movie released i downloaded this making video of chamak challo and criminal song and used to play in my PC. Those were the memories of this iconic movie♥️ I hope bollywood comes back with these unique ideas and fresh content of music again🥺
I knew it too. Around 2013-14, when my dad used to pick me up in school, we'd always play this song on repeat. I started listening to English songs after hearing "Right now" by Akon so I was a fan of him already.
Not just the pronunciation, dude even got the indian singing style right. I was 8 when this song came out, 18 now and this is stil a bop, 2010s bollywood music is just hits different for a particular generation.
Everyone is just praising Akon but not even talking about his passion for perfection. As indicated earlier, he doesn't just want to pronounce but to make the song BELIEVABLE like a normal guy, who is not native hindi speaker, singing in hindi. That's what makes him great !
