The fact is we all fall short of God's Wishes
The only chance we have is to Believe in God and Forgive Others so we shall be forgiven.
And you can't bestow belief on others.. you can't be taught to believe God is Real.. You can open your eyes to the expansiveness and grandness of the Universe he created and the infinite smallness of molecular structures that are the building blocks of everything..
but that is the difference between Belief and Religion
Moses had no other choice but to believe God's existence because God wasn't allowing him to believe otherwise...
So you realize your own imperfection which will never become perfection and you realize this is what the world is too..
and then you have faith.. that no matter how crazy life gets that God will be there for you in the end.

Prayer is a weird one for me. I am an atheist who grew up in a Anglican household. As a young boy I went to church in Detroit at an Apostolic church. I was then baptized for a second time in their church in Detroit.
Anyhow I'm not anti religion by any means. I just don't personally believe. But that being said there are so many good lessons to be learned from reading the bible and going to church and helping out. In a nutshell it is all about being part of a whole, part of a cooperating society and treating people fairly and working hard. Anyone with any background can use more of those things in their lives.

I personally feel that I would not want to live in a world that did not have the lessons, laws and boundaries found in the bible. Just imagine the chaos and suffering humanity would face if not for civility that is largely based on Christian beliefs. Mad Max comes to mind. I am thankful for God's words to lead us thru life.

The old saying, “the darkest hour is just before dawn” holds true in many situations. In a literal way of course but also just when you feel the most hopeless is often when you come to a startling revelation and your next move becomes apparent.
One only realizes how good things are until after they walk a mile in someone else's shoes.

I'm not sure of that. It's when YOU yourself experience hardship, it's then when you realize what "good things" are. Seeing another going thru a difficult time may make you briefly aware, but it subsides. Example: My wife died unexpectedly at 47 in 2005. Hundreds and hundreds of people, friehds and family showed for her viewing and funeral offering support and comfort. Within a few days, maybe a week, they were pretty much non-existent. Their life changed for a few hours or days. Mine changed forever. 😢😢😢

I have to learn the more you pray, the more the devil doesn’t want you to believe in God, or pray. Therefore the devil will bring interference in your life. A dying, church leader in the hospital blessed everyone, but at night he was torment, for his works, until he pasted. So God will hear your prayers, and hopefully all will be blessed. Thank you…
Love this! A friend and pastor told me something that helped my prayer life. When you pray, think of the letters in the word "P.R.A.Y." and use the letters to help guide your prayer. Praise the Lord, Repent (for things you may have done wrong recently or bad thoughts you may have had), Another (pray for another), and lastly, You (it is ok pray for yourself, but that should not be your focus). I know it may sound 'formulaic', but that is something I need. I don't use it all the time, because sometimes I just stop and pray for another person or family who is going through a rough time. But, for my morning prayer, it helps me focus on Him and others.

I am a self taught small Norwood Mill 36" guy....I work at my age 58, only about 4-6 hours but it gives me time alone up in the hills to think and be surrounded by positive energy from the trees. I think that I have been far from God, but I try to think about God but struggle with prayer.
Perhaps just helping other's is the key to peace.

I discovered the same thing more than 10 years ago. I am part of a Bible class Sunday morning, Tues night sermon discussion group, and Thur morning Bible study group. I also meet with a mission team from Panama 1X per month (via Zoom). Each of these includes prayer items and public prayer time. I serve as communications coordinator for the Sun morn class. I write the prayer items (8-15) and send to about 120 people. I get a similar list for the Thur morn group. Point: I am exposed to the needs and praises of many people. This gives me many things to pray for others. Having these lists guides my time with the Lord, all focused on others. I also have much solo time, working my own business. There is much to bring praise, and much to bring supplication.
I urge each to find others who have successes and needs. Take those to the Lord. There is no shortage! Share lives with one another.

It is the awesome power of God that has turned your channel into a place where I can meet another brother! You have spoken well, and I am glad to hear this. It just is very special how many Christians I meet on the channels I watch and how very special each of you are. I have been reading 4 chapters a day, it will take you thru the entire Bible once a year. I am always learning, and praying for wisdom and understanding, and guidance in my life. I ask the Lord questions about what I am supposed to do, for instance, and I wait. (wait upon the Lord) In a little while, it will either fall into my lap, or it will become obviously impossible. I just have to watch for the answer. Thank you for your prayers.

I was in another room, and I heard you talking about it, and it perked up my ears. (My husband is a follower of the channel) So, I ran into the room to hear what you had to say. I almost skipped over this video, but now that I watched it, I'm so glad. Intercessory prayer has always worked the best for me. I have a very hard time praying about myself, it almost seems strange to do so. Maybe not enough faith. I will send a prayer request shortly.

Instead of that, God talked to me using your mouth, and what He is doing in your life.

You’re a good man. Taking the time to offer prayer for those that need them is not something I’ve seen on any other channel I sub to. Also the evidence is in your family and how they behave. Today’s world is a place where girls have lots of temptations for easy money….particularly for attractive girls. Your girls are hard workers doing a job that is not easy. Thanks, Ken, for that uplifting message. I knew about the evening & morning being the "day" but I hadn't actually thought about the going from darkness into the light aspect. Back in, I believe, the 1980s I bought a book entitled "Prevailing Prayer" by D.L. Moody. It's basically a guide for prayer to keep on the right track. The book is about 4" x 7" & only 126 pages. It is a suggested guideline to hit on important topics. Of course, prayer is personal & you can talk to God about anything. The outline given for prayer is: Adoration; Confession; Restitution; Thanksgiving; Forgiveness; Unity; Faith; Petition; & Submission. Thanks again for a much welcomed video. Take care!

Yes, prayer circles and praying for others is a wonderful thing but you are allowed to ask for help too, it isn't selfish. Psalms 91:11 - For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Ken: In the same way the angels surrounded Elisha and his servant and protected them, they are surrounding us and protecting us today because God has given them charge over us to protect us! When we choose to make Him our habitation, He charges His angels to watch over us and surround us with His divine protection.

Well, Mr. Breon, Ken. This isn't the first time God has been praised on Emerald's channel. Bless you, and thank you. I loved every word you said. Bless you. I'm thrilled you didn't plug a religion. Hell is full of religious people. Your words were from God's Word, that you/we can trust. We are living in the days of Noah. The one worlders are openly pushing like never before. We need more, much more like you. I've been through the Bible many times and feel that you could sum up almost all of it to Love. First and foremost love God. Love God's creations - yourself and all others.. Love your neighbor. Love your enemy. Be humble. Be kind to others...yes, pray for others. For as much as you did to him, likewise you did unto me. You can say a prayer for me, but my entire 69 years of life on this earth as been in the palm of Jesus. Never, not one moment of time have I been seperated from Him. You see, He called me long before creation began, just as He called you. My health isn't very good, of course, I'm getting old, I'm getting ready to die. But I am in a real battle with a loved one. My oldest son's wife. She is a loving person, but she associates everything Biblical to religion and religion is like her enemy. She is a child therapist. She is 43. As the mother of my 14 year old granddaughter and 12 year old grandson, she is not directing them to Jesus. My son was baptized at a Billy Graham crusade in Charlotte N.C. in 1992. I've prayed and had many talks with him, but I just can't override his wife. Time is running out. Please help me pray for Brandi in NC. Thank you and God bless you.

What's amazing about reading the scriptures is how it can speak (or God speaks) to you differently even though it's the same passage you've read countless times before! That's why the Bible isn't a read once and then leave it on the shelf kind of book.
