तुलसी के पत्ते में पारा होता है जो दांतो को खराब करता है। इसलिए कभी भी तुलसी के पत्ते को चबाना नहीं चाहिए।
इसलिए तुलसी के पत्ते को चबाए नहीं या तो चूस कर खाएं या गर्म पानी में उबालकर पिए ।

तुलसी के पत्तों को या तो डायरेक्ट निगला जाता है या चूसा जाता है और नहीं तो गर्म पानी में उबालकर पिया जाता है ऐसा आयुर्वेद में साफ-साफ बताया गया है
