Coach D you helped showcase majorette style dance to people who truly had no clue. If the show NEVER comes back, stand proud in the amazing stamp you placed on this genre. The core young women have ALL moved on to be successful young women. Job WELL done coach

Don’t blame the ratings shift on Makya & Christianna becoming captain 😭😭 by that time people had already lost interest in the show. I didn’t even know they were captain until someone told me in the comments on here because I stopped watching at the start of season 4.

As in why did Chrissy actually leave? Did they only added the first show of the tour, to keep the views and rating coming in more?! I have so many questions, for season 5.

When she was “suspended” from the team for not showing up it was a lie, Crystianna attended an event that was planned and production was aware of it. They needed a dramatic storyline to get/keep viewers and she was a “sacrificial lamb.” While she was “suspended” from the team on the show, in reality she still led the team in competitions, parades, went on tour, and was selected as captain in 2019.

Personally, I’d watch the show with new faces! When the show was aired initially I had my select favorites and you just gotta love how real Coach D is on top of the Coach rivalry that makes the show even more intense!! A fresh start with new faces actually doesn’t sound too bad right about now.
Ready for a new season. Just because the veterans of the dancing dolls have moved on in their dance career does not mean the new dolls should be treated any different from us. We are all family. Coach D, thank you for all your hard work & support of the young ladies over the years (March 2014 to August 2020). From Coach, to substitute Mother, to Therapist, to just giving a hug --- you have helped these young ladies grow up to be confident women. They started in Jackson, MS but will branch out to the World --- leaving their mark. Fabulous at 40, you are, and in excellent shape (mentally & physically). I think how much more I could have done if I had a cheerleading, track or dance coach like you in high school pushing me to give just a little more. You helped these young ladies realize they can take these lessons and talents as far as they want. Coach little dancers? Choreograph for videos or movies? Coach at big dance studios like NYC or LAX? Start an exercise studio for older women? Physical therapist for seniors? Sports medicine & recovery training for athletes/professional sports teams? They can do any of these & more!! Maybe you will start "Traveling Exercise Classes with Coach D" or put out some exercise CDs/videos for those of us over 40 -- to help us stay toned & limber. I cannot wait to see ALL of you in the next challenge or adventure of Life!!🙄
The ratings were all over the place because of the unnecessary drama instead of the dancing. We loved the old girls and I'm sure we'd grow to love the new girls. Just keep the mama drama to a minimum. I don't want to see grown women "bringing it". There's enough trash TV with grown women carrying on.
I think the spike in ratings at the end was because the network kept changing the day the show would air. if I remember correctly, the show was originally on Wednesday nights. Then it went to Friday. Then it was on Thursdays at the same time as Grey's Anatomy. Not to mention, by that point Kayla and Sunjai were gone, Camryn was leaving, Crystianna and her family had quit or whatever. It also got to the point where they'd only air a handful of episodes and they did a shit job at cutting the stand battles.
Thank you for explaining. I just want to say thank you. It was good to see our young black ladies/girls grow up and bring dance to the fore front. Also showed the HUBC experience available to our young people. Thank you, the DD4L parents, the Dancing Dolls and the Baby Dancing Dolls for giving us the viewers a look into the marjorettes, field shows, parades, and WEEKLY competitions. That motivated many start up teams across the Nation. Thank you

If Jackson has better filming of minors laws - then why must the show be filmed now in ATL? Or solely ATL? The filming location shouldn't be the hold up of getting back on the air and Jackson needs the show more than ATL. Also - it is a given that most of the original ladies are gone. There are so many creative ways to fix that - like doing a quick summary as to what they are doing now/next; bringing back some of the babies who are now dolls; or for those retired dolls to come back and teach or work at the dollhouse; find a role for the moms of the original DDPs. We all know the team is for dancers who are in middle-high school - so seeing new cast members, will be an adjust , but if other creatives are there - I think the fan base would be fine. None of the OGs have younger siblings/cousins who are still in school ? For me - the show declined when the team went co-ed. Let's not lose the intent of the show - to inspire and showcase young dancers , primarily minority, talent.
Please bring them back soon. I had church by myself today with the episode where you walked out and quit. But you did come back. God’s Glory filled the space. My entire family love you guys. I’ve even driven to different locations to bring my granddaughter and great-great niece.

How about y'all do this. Bring back some of the old members and have them guest coach for a week. So people do see people they know from the show but people are getting to know the new girls.

Well I sure did enjoy the seasons! I am so happy that all of you DD's are well and moving forward. Dianna you did a great job of instilling compassion, empathy and all round sportsmanship in your Jackson team! KUDOS to you and your values! Keep on doing what you do. I feel the show should have stayed in Jackson. Great for the community, city and the state. ATL is already full of shows.
