Maybe you should name your new truck Spinnaker! Love the east coast of Florida. We were shocked to find the drivers near Vero Beach so polite. We had come from the Daytona area traffic and were able to slow down a little even driving a class C in rush hour traffic. A1A is so much easier to drive than the other area roads. We are further inland now, near the Peace River in Wauchula. It's kind of surprising to be surrounded by orange groves with billions of oranges hanging on the trees like Christmas decorations. Enjoy your travels.

OMG! Just missed you again! (If you remember, we were trying to get together at Quartzite last year but missed each other and then in Palm Springs last winter but you had a flat tire.) Now, you have gone within a few hundred feet of our new home base in Ormond Beach when you were traveling up A1A to Flagler Beach. We didn't actually move-in until last Friday, about a month after you visited. We'll invite you back to stay with us once we get our RV driveway built!

I used to live in Cape Canaveral years ago, and its a real shame that Port Canaveral and Jetty Park has changed so much ( over commercialized ) thanks to Disney and all the cruise ships. It was such a awesome place back then Robert, but don't know if you remember it then. Anyhow, great videos you make, and looking forward to the future ones.

I am from Miami and have traveled all of Florida in addition to half the U.S. and several Countries too...I agree the Cocoa Beach area, Titusville, etc... that area of Florida is usually missed and overlooked since most people pass it taking I-95 to other popular locations. OMG you really got the bad part and timing to arrive during that sloppy rain storm...my advice I recommend keeping a lightweight set of "frogg togg" rain suit and water boots inside main vehicle. That's what I do and you don't realize how important until it is needed (like it was in THIS video). You really got a 'waterfront' lot at that park :-)

We flew to Orlando and we drove to St Agustin Daytona Beach and back to Chicago we stopped in Panama City Alabama Nashville Kentucky & Indiana. The only city missing in Florida is Jacksonville

Last March (2018) to Daytona. Then to the west coast back ti east coast down past Miami. Loved all of the 10 day trip. Then back to Pennsylvania- Yukk!! 33° here. I always hated winter. Plan on moving to Florida.
You passed by my condo building in Ormond,lol,been to Grills on flounder st a bunch of times ,a bit pricey but food is real good,especially their mahi Tacos,I love northern Florida👌👌👌thnx for sharing Robert

Robert buddy...PAY ATTENTION . Here is a little know trick when backing up a trailer. Usually when you want your trailer to go to the left ( backing it up ) you have to turn your steering wheel the opposite direction, and it really confuses most people. Well, start off by positioning one of your hands at the Bottom Center of the steering wheel. Now if you want your trailer to go to your left, move your hand to the left. And then vice versa. Most people do not know this. Hope you will try it out next time. Good luck.

Wow, finally did a place I've been to. Been to Daytona many times, did the Ponce Inlet lighthouse, kinda freaky seeing the sign that marks the spot where the one lighthouse keeper died of a heart attack climbing the stairs. One day you gotta come to Ocala lot of stuff here to see.... There's um.... And then there's um.... And not to mention um.... Never mind....
I did pass by Ocala on my last trip... haven't done that video yet

Howdy howdy from NW PA. where it is 7 degrees above 0. May not be the coldest spot but certainly cold enough to frost your trailer hitch.
Seeing on the news, folks in Texas and NC got thunked with heavy snow along with ice in some areas.
Planning a trip to the Gulf Coast and Google Maps was poppin up accident sights along the interstates. Could just about track the storm system as the accidents popped up.
One day closer till we're loaded up and truckin.
Be safe everybody and remember to "keep an eye to the sky" when traveling in your RV.

Hey Robert, I've heard you talking a few times about your trailer wearing out one of the tires abnormally faster than all the other 3 tires. Unless the electric brake is dragging that wheel and the tire is wearing evenly normal. Suggestion; before you replace the tire, have a reputable alignment shop physically look at the tire and they will determine how to correct it. The way to align the wheels on dual or tandem axle trailer is by shims., after they do a trust alignment check. The way it should be done is by adding shims to the front, rear, top or bottom axis of the axle that is out of alignment compared with the 3 other wheels. The shims are placed between the brake backing plate and the axle. Again a reputable shop with a knowledgeable tech should be able to correct it. Good luck. Tito Torres.

There can be alligators in any fresh body of water in Florida so just in case I would avoid it

did the drive from Miami to Daytona area in 2013. I didnt realize that Ron Jon's was open 24 hours a day! seriously? who needs those kind of products at 3am? I guess maybe the idea is to capitalize on all the drunk people late at night. I was wondering if you were going to show the Disney cruise ship and sure enough you saw it the next morning. have stayed near Daytona many times and driven and seen so much of what you showed. driving on the A1A is a joy. I usually stay at Flagler Beach or a bit further north at Palm Coast. I love that red lighthouse at Ponce Inlet! such a relaxing spot to spend an afternoon and I go there every time I am in the area. not a fan of the display of Cuban rafts. it just looks like a pile of garbage that should be disposed of. have not eaten at DJ's Deck in Port Orange... I have a favorite place just a few blocks north of there called Pat's Riverfront Cafe. great old style diner... unfortunately they dont serve alcohol and are only open for lunch and close at 2pm. and my last thought on this video was that you should have continued to take A1A up to Jacksonville! I really enjoyed that part of the road and it had quite a different feel compared to the part around Daytona.
