Hello from New Zealand. Thank you Gary for your teaching. I listen to you every morning over breakfast, and have learned so much. You have been given a great gift.
Man am I guilty... Let me just testify, this is why it's SO important to stay in the Word of God. And have a pastor who teaches Truth! I may just be on line , but I claim Pastor G...to be one of the best, Pastors who, my ears, are drawn to, have been now couple years. I haven't listened and watched any one who can read, and teach the books of the Bible like he does. I thank The Lord for him. I caught that envy when the Book of Numbers 16 was taught. Thought I prayed, confessed it away, oh no, the enemy came at back at me, slapping me crazy, with envy and jealousy, I literally acted nuts like Saul for 6 days...oh this message will cause me to repent even more...thank you Pastor Gary....I'm perieced through the heart.... Sorry all if that was to much to confess... Please keep me in prayer .. It's a my husband's ex situation with my husband's 2 girls.... God is great, and His Word is Alive. Amen
Good morning everybody and everyone in the morning in the world Lord God bless you and your family and friends in the house special in the morning and evening and night 👁️👁️in will help you in his hands and of Jesus name in the will in the way of Jesus name and he is my beloved Christ 👁️👁️
In my study time, I have noticed a distinct difference with “jealous(y)”. The biblical examples of jealous(y) seem to refer to someone being deprived of what is rightfully theirs (God or a husband are jealous when they are not shown their due respect, admiration, love, which may be being given to another). Jealousy itself doesn’t appear to be a sin (but wrongful doubt and suspicion are a problem). Envy seems to be a general desire for what we don’t have, but someone else may (like keeping up with the Jones’s). And covetousness is when someone wants something specific that another already has (and could result in stealing to get it; “coveting your neighbor’s wife”). Just some things to consider!
Great teaching as usual Ptr Gary but I don’t agree that David made up that story about his men. Jesus confirmed it in Matt 12 by adding “and those who were with him” - twice.

Divid never tried to kill Saul, as bad as Saul was, for David would not touch the Lord’s anointed

Where can I find the midweek Bible study by Pastor Gary Hamrick on the book of Genesis, all in one place?

Excellent observation!
