Awesome field of Pro Mods. A lot of veteran 1/8th mile racers. This will be one for the record books, ($100,000)

Only thing cooler than a field of eigth mile ProMod cars is a field of Quarter mile ProMod cars, and I'll take any ProMod racing any time

Yes, 1/4 is great in the NHRA. But you can't make any money in the NHRA. 1/8 drag racing is easier on parts. And the payday is more lucrative than what the NHRA offers. Chris Thorne won the Pro Mod Championship last year. His check for the championship was only $50,000. This one event is $100,000. Also at PDRA Events, winners collects $20,000. So the racers go where the money is and events that are easy on parts

@@errickevans2454 I agree 💯, I've talked to many of the drivers about the parts lasting longer in 1/8 mile ProMod cars, they agree about it being awesome to see 1/4 mile stuff but NHRA doesn't pay much and it destroys parts , and 1/8 mile stuff they get thru the field much easier, better for the fans, attracts more fans and that's more money along with closer racing , I'm just a big fan of ProMod

@@errickevans2454 I agree! 8th mile is better. It's the grass roots of pro mod. IHRA is rebounding and I'm glad!

The association to come up with a new rule regarding pre- stage burnouts
Doing a 1/2 TRACK burnout IS NOT NECESSARY
Soon as they PASS THE TREE, stop the burn

Mark Mickie is one bad machine, definitely got the most horsepower Posted 4,779hp on the hub Dyno at fuel tech , but only problem is it's not as instant pwr like a blower or supercharger setups are it's only downside but I think as time goes on he will break records and do so more winning 💯👍🤪
